The Diary Game: 21st September, 2020: Outing While Working

Dear diary, Mondays are always off due to the early morning work we do on Sundays. I woke up by 7am, didn't have any plans of going out, so I stayed in bed till 8:30am when I got a call from my In-law informing me of his arrival in town. I was supposed to go with him to work in another town but the job was rescheduled for another day. I had my bath and ate before he arrived at my place.

Going Out

When he came, I joined him to Brent where he went to service their ice cream machine. His work entails installation, servicing and distribution of ice cream machines and other fast food machines. When he was done with the machine, we went upstairs to their restaurant section where we bought food. Mine was takeaway but he ate his there, on our way coming out, he wanted to buy ice cream but the type made with condensed milk flavor for me so I could tell the difference between the ice cream.
But getting to the show glass, there was no condensed ice cream available. We left and went to another outlet that's like a mini supermarket.

Ice Cream
After a little chit chat between him and the workers, we bought the ice cream, they had the condensed ice cream he wanted me to try. After packaging , we left for home, On our way back to my place, I tasted the condensed milk ice cream and understood what he was talking about. He drove me to my junction while he returned to Lagos. I took the food to my work place, having it in mind of the possibility of working today. But when I got there, there wasn't anything to do, I shared the ice cream with my colleagues and the rice with my neighbor before going home to relax. I ate the rice we bought for lunch.
