The Diary Game: 9th September, 2020: Very Busy Day😥😴😒|| An Urgent Journey 🏃🏻🚘🏃🏻🚘

Dear diary, I had a very good night rest waking up by 6 a.m, we observed our morning devotion after which I went back to my room to work on my post.

Before now I had the intention of travelling back to Ibadan but because it wasn't urgent at the moment I scheduled my journey to be by Monday morning while I travel to see a friend first this weekend in Enugu before going to Ibadan.

I had already started plans for my journey this weekend. I just decided to go through telegram to check my unread messages in NYSC group, when I found some update that we should verify if our credentials are correct in the uploaded PDF file and if the credentials are not correct or is not among the uploaded files we should send the correct credentials to the email uploaded with the documents.

The credentials are arranged sequentially with our tag number I checked using my tag number but I couldn't find my credentials in the uploaded documents. Before now, I inquired from my colleagues on how the submission was done and they said I am to go to the secretariat with my documents for submission that was what I had in mind so not finding my credentials in the uploaded document I have to cancel my journey to Enugu and reschedule my journey to Ibadan for tomorrow which is Thursday.

Due to the change in plan and the urgency of my journey I had a lot to to cover up, firstly I had to go to Agbarho to retrieve my Bible from my friend, she actually left with my Bible because I put it in her handbag when we went to church together so she took my Bible home unknowingly. I put a call through to her to inform her I was coming to get my Bible, so I dressed up boarded a tricycle and left for Agbarho. When I got to Agbarho, I collected my Bible and headed back home.

Petrol Station

Waiting for The Driver
I boarded another tricycle going towards my Direction on our way going the driver stop by the roadside saying he needed to get some petrol that the petrol in the Tricycle is exhausted, it was really unexpected and annoying but we just came down and waited for him to get it. So He crossed to the other side of the Road to the petrol station, after getting the petrol he came back filled is tank and we continued our journey.

Transport Company
Before now I had planned out time to make a dress for myself but when I got home and with the limited time I had to pack up for my journey I couldn't meet up and I also had some amendments to carry out because that won't really take much time, I began the amendment. While on it, I received a call from my Mum, asking if I have gone to book a ticket for my journey tomorrow and if I knew their charge from Delta to Ibadan.

Where We Came to Get Diesel
I totally forgot to do that when I went out, I dressed up and left to their office. On my way going, at my junction where am supposed to get a tricycle, I met a friend who was going to get diesel for our church generator and he was going my way. The office am going to is very close to the petrol station he was going to get the diesel. At the office, the transport fare had doubled due to the pandemic and increase in petrol price. when I was done with my reservation, I went down to meet him at the petrol station. After getting the diesel, he dropped me off at my junction.

Amendment
When I got home, I continued with the clothes I was amending. We had an ongoing youth program in church and I haven't attended since it started, after amendment, I dressed up and left for the program. The program was slated for 5pm but due to the amendments and also waiting for my sister to finish up what she was doing, we arrived by 5:30pm.

During the Sermon
The program was a 2hour program, with topic: destiny for sell. The texts where from the books of Genesis 25: 27, 29-34

25:27 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
25:29 And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint
25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
25:31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
25:32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
25:33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
25:34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.

Genesis 27: 36-40

27:36 And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?27:37 And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?
27:38 And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.
27:39 And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above
27:40 And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

Judges 13:1-5

13:1 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.
13:2 And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not.
13:3 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.
13:4 Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing:
13:5 For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.

After the program, I went home, started arranging my clothes in my bag and other things I need was also arranged. When I was done, I had dinner after which we prayed and went to bed.
