INDIVIDUALITY IS THE MOTHER OF COLLECTIVITY
My Nigeria!! your Nigeria!! Our Nigeria!!!
The peace we Seek without resides within. It takes peace Within 2 exude peace Without. The manifestations in d society is more or less d outcome of the mindsets of INDIVIDUALITIES. A collection of great minds makes a great Nation.
It is important to note that: Unity, Peace, and Faith r requisites that precipitates progress. That's why NIGERIA opted for the motto: UNITY & FAITH, PEACE & PROGRESS. The motto follows thus, We are one & must have faith in our oneness, we must preach, practice & promote peace if we must know progress as a Nation.
Furthermore, to have a working Nigeria, her citizenry must be working with a divers but converging mindsets. That is to say, for we to thrive Spiritually, Socio_politically & other wise, we must believe we are one, fight for our oneness and hallow internal nd external Peace. In reality, Nigeria as a nation has Lost her cultural integrity and as such internal rivary abounds.
Nothing fights themself & at the same time progress...And Nigeria is not an exception. We have known a minimal progress simply because we wage war against ourselves instead of joining hands to fight our foes. The reason for this prevailant absurdism is not far fetched as we have Lost FAITH in the Unity & sanctity of the system.
Going by what IBN KHALDUM theorized, "Nigeria was d giant of Africa when d coperation of all was still in place, we chanelled our energy on a singular course(Unity of purpose) to gain freedom.
And according to Dr. Super, the higher the population, the more powerful the VOICE. The Colonial masters could not withstand our fight for freedom & to be a Republic because d higher d Populace d more powerful d Voice & there was no room for betrayal since the Nigerians interest was one. Although, we gained independence but we failed to uphold the vision and we became highly divided. Hence, we Lost our place, "THE GIANT OF AFRICA."
To regain our place of dignity, prestige, influence and affluence, we must take a repositioning. It's High time we stick to the basis. The greatness of every nation lies in placement of Humanism above structuralism. Lets not forget that, the structure only defines d atmosphere but the productivity of any society has its bed rock on d individualistic contributions. Until, the system is sructured in cohesion instead of coercion we can't compete globally as a nation. If we are ONE NIGERIA, lets be One Nigeria INDEED.
