Lifestyle Diary Game| 04 December 2025 | "The last day of rice threshing was my busiest day."
Assalamu Alaikum,
Today I will be very busy and hardworking with all the work including threshing rice and selling this rice. I woke up in the morning and brushed my teeth with tooth powder and got fresh. In the morning my mother gave me a boiled egg and breakfast.
We will join the work after eating breakfast. The workers were supposed to come in the morning but that too was a bit late. We will start the work. The workers of the threshing machine are actually giving mobiles to various bearings before starting the machine and then the machine will start. As soon as the machine starts, the dust accumulated in the machine comes out. When the rice threshing starts, I will also have to carry the rice.
Today, I have to carry the rice in front of the threshing machine, because there is a lot of dust coming out of the machine. The machine is running until noon and the threshing is progressing very fast today, the machine is running until noon without stopping once, meanwhile the pile of rice is getting bigger in the yard. At noon today too, the workers will eat at our house, so we will start working again after finishing eating. After we started working again, I fell on the high ground while bringing the rice sacks and got a little hurt, so I stopped bringing the sacks and my brother is doing that work.
By the afternoon, our threshing work was almost finished. Among our workers, there were two women who were cleaning the entire yard with brooms, which allowed us to finish the work faster. To finish the job, we cleaned the rice that was completely on the ground with a threshing machine.
As soon as the rice threshing is over, the wholesaler will come to take our rice. I will sell the rice, which is why I kept the rice outside. The laborers will now weigh the sacks themselves. I just have to check the weighing time. I asked them to bag the rice and started weighing, so I went to take a bath. After taking a bath, I had to stay with them to check the weight of the rice sacks, each sack filled with rice would weigh 77 kg.
I finished my bath and joined them. My only job was to check the weight on the scale so that they could not take too much rice. It was 8 pm for them to fill the rice sacks. When the 220 rice sacks are filled, I offer them tea and feed them. They will now take these sacks to the moneylender's godown.
They will take these in 6 vans in two batches, which will take them time now, and the manager there will not pay until the entire rice is gone. That is why we went to the dealer to get fertilizer at night. Currently, there is a huge crisis of chemical fertilizers, farmers are not getting fertilizer as per demand. Many have been waiting here since morning but are not getting fertilizer. We submitted our papers in the morning, so we got the fertilizer shortly after it was gone.
When we came home with the fertilizer, we saw that they were taking the last trip of the rice. We took the account of the entire sack of rice from them and we went to the merchant's godown to get the money for the rice. There, many people were coming to collect money for their rice sales, and here, four people were just counting the money. We counted our rice, collected the money, and returned home.
I explained the price of rice to my father. We sold 220 bags of rice today. Although each bag weighs 77 kg, each bag has one kg of dhalata and a net weight of 75 kg excluding the weight of one kg bag. 220* 75/40= 412.5 maunds of rice. As per 1250 taka per maund (40 kg), it is 412.5 *1250=516625 taka, which I explained to my father.
Before I went to bed after dinner, I soaked the hybrid rice seeds in water today. There were two companies of rice seeds. I put them in two pots and filled them with water and kept them at home. I am ending today with Allah Hafez.

Thank you sir for a Great support.
