Betterlife - The Diary Game |28th October, 2024 |A Blissful Day in Cox's Bazar: Memories to Treasure
I hope everyone is safe and healthy and having a fabulous time. May Allah protect everyone and stay safe. And I am doing Alhamdulilah as well, I, recently, felt inspired to record a day that filled my heart with joy and gratitude. Today I have come with our last day of vacation in Cox’s Bazar, a day with lots of special, plenty of laughing, lots of exploring and my family.
It was very early, and we were ready to make the best of the day. We chose to go revisit Radiant Fish World after breakfast knowing just how much our little one loved it last time there. Within minutes we hopped into an auto rickshaw and before I know it, my baby’s excitement peaked as we started to arrive. As a first fish aquarium in Bangladesh, it also features a number of sea creatures — yet some tanks were empty. Yet my baby was obsessed with sharks, crabs, lobsters, and fish with all different colors, he kept asking questions as he went deep. It took us about an hour to take in memories and see sea life.
For lunch, my husband suggested we try something new: Falang Zee, a Rakhine restaurant that’s famous for its special flavor. The restaurant was so beautifully decorated, and we ordered the Bhapa ilish, Pahari deshi murgi vuna, Tin mishali vorta, Chicken lakso, Prawn lakso, steamed vegetables, bamboo shoot vuna along with steamed rice. I Loved the food, but my husband (especially) loved the food and the spices and the flavors were amazing. Then there were the traditional sweets, Mung la sung, Sticky rice balls, Patishapta pitha and Puli pitha, yet none were better than the mung la sung. It was totally a different culinary adventure.
After lunch, we went to Shutki Market (dried fish market) to buy shutki for home. We then went back to our accommodation for a quick rest before really cherishing our time together.
As the sun started to set later we explored the beach market and we enjoyed the liveliness of the place.
For dinner we went to Atlantis Dine, famous for its seafood dishes to wind up the day. we ordered a seafood platter and seafood fried rice, which was hands down the most delicious seafood I’ve ever had, fresh, flavorful and cooked to goodness.
That night my heart was full when we made it back to our room. This trip has been such a blessing because it has allowed us to spend time with my family time we cherish because it allows us to remember for a lifetime. How precious can these moments of joy, laughter, and togetherness be, right with loved ones? On the way home I was grateful for the beauty of these experiences which made our short vacation so special.
