Sewing is my favorite hobby and a lot of fun and joy. It provides an opportunity to express my creativity and creativity and provides peace of mind and freedom when needed. Sewing is a creative process that helps me feel joy and motivation in my work. It encourages me to create new designs through my skills and patience and gives me an opportunity to express my ideas and style with each salwar kameez, and frock.

Materials needed for sewing are a sewing machine, scissors, inch tape or ribbon, marking chalk, a safe cutting scale, cloth, etc. For different clothes, measurements should be taken for different parts of the body.

For example:

  1. Length: The length of the dress. 2. Chest (Chest) Chest size. 3. Shoulder or putt is the measurement of the highest part of the shoulder. 4. Arm length is shoulder bone length. 5. The wrist is an arm or hand length. 6. Neck (Neck) The shape of the neck. 7. Waist (waist) is the size of the waist circumference. 8. Hip (Hip) The size of the highest part of the hip. 9. Size of Mauri (Bottom) Salwar Bottom Circumference.

Sizes of different parts for making kameez (not included)

  1. Hang-40"
  2. Chest-36"
  3. Shoulder - 13"
  4. Waist 30"
  5. Hip-38"
  6. Sleeve Length - 14"
  7. Cuff or Muhuri - 11"

The front chest area and length of the kameez should be taken more. When cutting underarms, cut a little deeper in the front.

Cut clothes:

  1. Fold the cloth lengthwise on the table and spread it tautly.
  2. Now mark the size with tailoring chalk on the cloth.
  3. Cut the cloth according to the stain with sharp scissors.

Kameez Stitching:

  1. First, the shoulder should be sewn.
  2. Then join the two sides.
  3. A neck strap should be applied.
  4. Hands should be joined with shoulders.
  5. The wrist should be stitched.
  6. The hanging or long part should be stitched. 7. Cut the excess thread or fabric.
  7. Now the kameez has to be ironed.

Salwar made according to specific sizes: 4 basic measurements are required to make a salwar viz.

  1. long
  2. the hip
  3. Leg girth
  4. waist belt

Cutting of salwar cloth:

  1. Cut 4 folded pieces of fabric 31" long and 6" 6" wide in half lengthwise.
  2. For Kali 31 pieces of cloth should be folded 2 times and cut into 12" at the top and bottom according to size.
  3. The waist belt should be cut to measure 9" long and 10" wide.

Sewing:

  1. 31" long and 6" wide half of the cloth should be paired with the kali cloth.
  2. The foot border should be stitched with buckram or other cloth below.
  3. The hip should be attached. The ribbon house should be made in the upper part of the waist.
  4. Now the upper part of the salwar should be joined with the waist belt.
  5. Ironing should be done after sewing.
