Assalamu alaikum Everyone. I am @imranhassan From #Bangladesh

How are you all? I hope you are well; by the grace of God, I am well too. Today I will share the time before planting the soil of the roof garden and the time before planting the processed plants.

There are many of us who live in buildings and like to do roof gardens, but sometimes after gardening on our roofs, our soils become hard, and if any vegetable plants or flowers are planted there later, the yields are not good, so at this stage I will show you how to prepare the soils again with your own funds.

Step -01

image.pngimage.png

First of all, you can see that my previous planting soil bag is like a big jambu bag. Here I cultivated it before for about a year, and after cultivating it later, the yield was not good, so I decided to break the soil again and process it again, so I cut the soil down with the help of a spade and emptied two big jambu bags, as you can see here.

Step -02

After taking the soil out of the bag, I cleaned the previous dirt with the help of a sieve. Now you can see that there are some brick pieces and some plastic paper and some dry branches. I have cleaned and separated them. Then you can see that I have mixed the soil well. There is 50% sand and 50% soil.

Step -03

To make the soil more nutritious and to make the plants survive more strongly, I have used some charcoal and wood ash here. The soil in our roof garden dries out very quickly, so it is good to use charcoal and ash with some soil because they help retain water. And here you can see that I have used cow dung. Cow dung soil and cow dung fertiliser are very good for every plant, and it is important to collect and mix them with the soil.

Step -04

Now you can see that I have mixed the previously filtered soil with the cow dung soil and mixed it nicely, and now the roots of the plants will be able to spread around very well in the soil, and the roots of the plants will get nutrition from the cow dung fertiliser very well, and the ash and coal are very useful for the plants to get water all the time. And now you can see that I have made them beautiful like soil inside the bags, and you can see a plastic pot that I have collected from the factory. Now I will go to our village market and bring the plants from there and plant them and show them to you.

Step -05

I had to spend five days doing this soil work because I finished my duty for eight hours and then came home and processed this soil, and I hope that now my processed soil will yield very well, and I did not spend two taka here. And my wife and I helped with my entire work. I also thank you for making a small hoe that helped me a lot to cut the soil.
