Typhoid Vaccination Campaign-2025

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.

Dear friends! I hope everyone is well with the grace of Allah. I am very well with the grace of Allah and the blessings of your prayers. Thanks to Allah. In the current environment of Bangladesh, it is being observed that many people are getting infected with typhoid fever and are gradually becoming weak.
In order to stay healthy from typhoid fever, the Bangladesh Government has taken a nationwide vaccination program. And this campaign has already started in every district, upazila, neighborhood and institution of the country.

In continuation of this, my beloved institution, West Gazaria Darul Arkam Ebtedayi Madrasa, held a contractor program on Thursday, 23-10-25, to include young children under the "Typhoid Vaccination Campaign 2025". And this campaign was conducted by the community clinic authorities nearby the madrasa.

The community clinic authorities initially informed the principal of our institution that we think it is necessary to bring the students of your madrasa under the typhoid vaccination. Respected principal, sir, consulted all the teachers and also consulted the guardians. Although some guardians and one or two of our teachers were a little opposed to coming under this vaccination. Even then, since the government's decision, and the advice of most of the teachers and the majority of the guardians, was to come under the vaccination. Therefore, a policy decision was finally taken to bring our young children under the vaccination.

Finally, on Thursday morning at 10:30 am, two health workers from the community clinic arrived at our beloved institution with vaccination equipment. And without wasting time, they started vaccinating the children. Although many children were afraid to take the vaccination. Due to which the well-wishing principal of our institution sat next to the health worker and supported him by holding the children's hands. Then one by one the children came and were getting vaccinated.

On the other hand, the important responsibility of listing the names of the children who were getting vaccinated fell on me. One by one they were getting vaccinated and I was writing down their names, ages and mothers’ names. The health workers were giving the vaccine to one person so quickly that I could not finish writing down their names, ages and mothers’ names in this short time.
Sometimes I had to write with their cooperation. However, about 30 students were given typhoid vaccine in just 20 minutes. After giving the vaccine, two health workers quickly left our madrasa to go to the nearby primary school.

Conclusion: Health is a great blessing of the Almighty God. However, being sick is also a blessing of Allah, but we cannot tolerate the blessing of illness. Therefore, we should always strive to stay healthy. And protect ourselves from the diseases that spread at different times. And for this, it is necessary to follow all the rules and regulations of the government. So, let's all join the typhoid vaccination program at this time and stay healthy from typhoid. Basically, the only one who can keep us healthy is Allah Ta'ala. Vaccination is just a means. May Allah grant us all the blessings of health. Amen.
