How are you all, my dear brothers and sisters and friends, I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah, I am also well by the grace of Allah, Alhamdulillah. Today I will share a recipe with you, I hope you like it. We always buy singara spoons from outside and eat them. Today I made singara at home, I will share this recipe with you. First, I boiled potatoes for about eight to ten minutes on the stove, while the potatoes were boiling, I made a dough of flour in the middle with lukewarm water. After about 15-20 minutes, when the aloo was boiled, I took it out. I mixed the boiled aloo with onion, dry chili, almonds, salt, and made potato stuffing. This stuffing will be put inside the singara. Then, when everything was finished, I sat down to make singara.

Amount of
flour: I used five cups of flour per teacup!
Potatoes: I used about ten more!
Soybean oil: I used about four to five cups of soybean oil!
Almonds: I used about 15-20 almonds!

The bread that is made to make singara has to be rolled long. It will not be like the breads that we normally make. Guys, to make bread, you have to roll the bread long. I have given the picture below how to roll the bread. After rolling, you have to cut it in the middle and divide it into two halves. Then, you have to add a little water to the side where you cut it so that when you stick your jute, it sticks very easily. Otherwise, when you fry it in oil, it will come out and get ruined, so you have to stick it well with a little water. I have given all the pictures below. Then I took a spoonful of potato filling and put it inside the bread and stuck it well with water from all sides. So that when I fry it in oil, it does not run out. Then how else did I do it, it took me about two to three hours to finish making this singara.

Actually, my sister-in-law helped me while making them. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to finish them so quickly. Making singaras is a very difficult task, in fact, you have to make them with a lot of patience. They are as delicious to eat as they are to work hard to make. After finishing making them, I took them to fry them, the singaras have to be fried in oil. Otherwise, one side will not be the same as the other, so they have to be fried in oil until they are red, then they will be more delicious to eat. Then I put a pan on the stove, to heat the pan slightly. When the pan got hot, I poured oil, I had to add so much oil that when I put the singaras in, they would sink in the oil. Then I waited for a while for the oil to heat up, I would heat the oil slightly, so that the singaras don't burn as soon as I put them in. When it was hot, I immediately added the singaras to the oil, then I slowly fried the singaras, turning them upside down, until they turned brown.

After finishing the singara, it was our turn to eat, actually these were very difficult. Then I finished them and started eating them with sauce. It was so much fun that I can explain it in words. Actually, I had heard that the fruits of hard work are sweet, and today I got the proof. It was even more fun to eat them with sauce, just like it was spicy. This was my recipe, I hope you liked it. Thank you very much for reading my post patiently, by the grace of Allah, everyone will be well, be careful, be healthy, Allah Hafez.

Wow! This recipe caught my attention right away. I love how you explained the steps so clearly, especially the part about getting the spicy flavor right. Even though it’s called “fake” jhal singara, it looks absolutely real and delicious. I’d really love to try this out soon!
