My first time trying the famous Mejban in Cox’s Bazar!

How are you doing today? Hope everything is going great for you. Today I'm going to share the experience of tasting one of my long cherished food.

I have heard so much about the famous Mejban beef, but I never tried it. Because I didn't knew where to find the real, authentic taste in Dhaka. So, I had to wait for so so long. Finally, during my trip to Cox’s Bazar with my husband, we decided to look for it. And guess what! On our very last day, we went to a place called Jhautola, which is a bit far from the main city and we got the authentic Mejban!

We ordered a full Mejban package and took some extra fresh papaya juice. I was so excited to taste it because of all the stories I had heard. Then it was the moment of truth. When I took the first bite, I actually stopped for a second. Because the taste felt so familiar to me! It tasted exactly like the beef curry my mother cooks at home! Though we live in the north side of Bangladesh and my mother also never tasted it, it felt bit surprising for me! The chana dal was also very tasty and everything was served fresh.

Both of us enjoyed the meal very much. It was so satisfying! That very day and sitting on that very restaurant we decided that if we visit again, we must eat this Mejban at this restaurant. We went to Cox’s Bazar this February, and since we are planning to visit Saint Martin next January, I hope we get another chance to eat there!

Have you ever tried this real praise worthy Mejban? If no and you have no constraints to eat, then I recommend you should go for it!
