Importance of electrical earth meter.

Today I will introduce an important electrical device. The electrical device in the picture is an earth meter. We all know about the Earth's electricity. Where there is electricity, there is earthing. We use an AVO or a multimeter to measure electricity. But many do not know what kind of meter we use to measure earthing. We use an earth meter to measure earthing. The picture above shows an earth meter used to measure earthing value.

It is better if the earthing resistance in our homes is below 5 ohms (Value < 5 ohms). In the industrial sector, it is better if the value is below 1 ohm (Value < 1). The lower the earthing value, the safer your home's electrical appliances will be. So we should measure the home's earthing.

Currently, there are different types of digital earth meters available in the market. Often, the lamps, fans, or electrical appliances in our homes flicker. Then we will understand two reasons. First, the insulation on the power line has come into contact with various types of metal objects. Second, there is a problem with the earthing line. Then the earthing has to be measured with an earth meter.

Sometimes our electricity bills are high. Sometimes the electric lights in our house break down quickly. Then we will realize there is a problem with the earthing at our house. Earthing is very important in the electrical sector. I am an electrical engineer, so many times my acquaintances or office colleagues come to me to solve electrical problems.
