Thakumar Pithar Jhaapi is the name of the land office of Parbatipur Upazila located next to the main road. Being located next to the main road, it is easy to travel here. The distance of the land office from the central Shaheed Minar is only 500 meters, so it can be easily reached on foot.

During winter, the demand for pitha in our city and village increases a lot and so when she went to the land office to set up a pitha shop, the land officer gave her the land for free to earn her living. In 2020, a local middle-aged woman gave this shop. She was able to set up a shop on the land office land for free because she is a disadvantaged woman in the society. She does not know about any technology so there is no means of communication with her.

This shop is run by two people. The owner of the shop and his daughter. They run the shop every day from 2 pm to 9 pm. They make pitha on three stoves. You have to sit on the chairs they give you to eat pitha. Together, the two of them always keep the shop clean and serve food.

There is electricity for lighting in the evening. There are two lights and a fire on the side, so it is easy to see from all sides. Six people can sit and eat here. However, there is a very large hut under the tree at the back, and many people take pitha and eat there. There is a safe water system here.

In summer they make many types of pitha and snacks but in winter they make only two types of pitha, these are bhapa pitha and chitui pitha. I have made a table by calculating the price of bhapa pitha and chitui pitha with our regional price and steem price.

The owner of the shop is an old woman. So she has no knowledge about technology. So there is no opportunity to pay online here. All types of payments have to be made in cash here. Locals and foreigners all bring cash to eat pitha here.

I ate two pithas here, one is bhapa pitha and the other is chitui pitha. I ate these pithas here as an afternoon snack. I was able to eat a full breakfast here for a small amount of money. The taste of the pitha here was like the pitha made by my mother. This pitha is more popular among those who stay out for a long time and cannot go home because eating this pitha reminds them of their mother. I liked the taste of this pitha very much. The chutneys here were even more interesting. It was really fun to eat pitha with this chutney.

Their behavior was very good. I usually took chutney from them twice today, even though the rule was to give this chutney only once. They behaved very nicely. They gave me pitha like a son. They consider every customer as a member of their family, so everyone goes here to eat pitha. Their activities were the best for me. I was impressed by their delicious pitha.
