SEC-S17W1: "Season of My Country"
The world I mean the universe is diverse and we are so much blessed with a whole lot of beautiful weather conditions across the globe and this varies in different countries or different part of the world actually also. The truth of the matter is every country is blessed with amazing seasons and today I am here to share with you my own country seasons and how peculiar each one of them is. I believe you will enjoy them so stay tune and follow me below.
How many seasons in your country? Which one is your favorite and why?
Like I said Nigeria as a country is a tropical country that is really blessed with amazing seasons. So far so good, we have two seasons majorly in Nigeria which is called the dry season, the rainy season and there is this last one though people does not always categorize it as a season but I actually see it as a season and which is the Harmattan season. Shortly I will be showing you how each one of the differs
- Dry Season
Dry season in Nigeria is majorly one of the two seasons in Nigeria and this particular season is known for the lack of rain during those seasons. In fact it is also regarded due to the harsh weather condition. During the dry season, the weather condition is always hot. So hot compared to other seasons actually.
- Rainy Season
I call this season the opposite of the dry season. During the season there is availability of rain and the land is not always dry. Also during the rainy seasons there is availability of good weather condition compare to the dry season
- Harmattan Season
This is the last season. Though for some people, they don't classify it as one of the major season in Nigeria but nevertheless it is still one of the season. I see it as the exact opposite of the dry season. During the Harmattan season, there is no rain but the weather condition is extremely cold. In fact the Harmattan season is what people tagged as the winter season
Now back to which one is my favourite, I will definitely go for the rainy season and why it is my favourite is because during the rainy season, there is a balance. The rainy season always starts around May - October. The weather condition of rainy season is neither too hot and it is neither too cold. This is one of the reason why the rainy season is my favourite.
If there was one season you wanted to skip forever, which one would it be? Explain the reason.
Quite a difficult question to answer of I must confess. If I should choose between seasons, I will rather say the dry season should be skipped Forever due to the harsh weather condition. I am not a fan of heat and just like I said earlier, during the dry season, it is always extremely hot and in fact sometimes unbearable to actually bear which I don't really like. I will rather choose the dry season to be skipped due to the harsh hot weather condition.
Describe a traditional or special activity that people in your country do during a particular season.
One of the special activity people in my country practice most during a particular season is the Christmas and it is practice during the Harmattan season. Christmas is celebrated around December and Harmattan season always last from November - January. People so much love the Christmas period and it is celebrated during the Harmattan season that takes place during the December period just like I said.
Are there any special foods or drinks that people in your country enjoy most during certain seasons? If so, what is it and why?
Yea of course sure. There are a whole lot of special foods and drinks that is made available during the country and one of it I can point to is the availability of yam during the rainy season. During the rainy season, there is too much of yam more and so people tend to enjoy it much more. I will like to rest here

Thank you for the invitation. I can say that my best season is dry season. Reason because everywhere is so dry,bright and beautiful. I don't feel irritated because of the dirtiness of the environments to compare the way I feel during rainy season. During dry seasons, my favorite fruits like mangoes and African star apples (udara) are matured and ready to be eaten😄. And whenever I washed clothes during dry season, it doesn't take time to dry. So I prefer dry season more .

Yes, as you said, there are two types of weather in your country, rainy season and dry season, but you also mentioned the month from which month it starts and when it ends. The presentation is very simple and attractive, meaning that it is an easily understandable point of view.

One is different from other. Nature changes it look in every season. By reading you post I come to know that there are two seasons in your country.
