Betterlife - The Diary Game | 04 December, 2025 | Visiting a developer friend's workplace and going to a hilly area on a winter afternoon.

Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well. I have a friend who I've known since college. He is a developer who has been working in the marketplace for some time now and also runs a startup. I hadn't seen him for a long time, so we scheduled a meeting, and he suggested meeting at his office so I could also see his workspace.

In the morning, after finishing some of my tasks, I took public transportation to Agrabad to my friend's Udayan office. I was very impressed by the office environment when I arrived. This is a high-tech park provided by the Government of Bangladesh, where startups are given the opportunity to operate their offices for free. After entering, I spent the first few minutes just in the hall room.

Then, my friend took me to his desk where he does all his work. Since it had been a long time since we last met, we got nostalgic about our old college memories, the usual thing that happens when you meet after a long time. Then, we discussed each other's work, and at one point, he showed me some of his development work. He is a very good developer.

I shared the Steemit platform with him and also shared the opportunity to develop as a witness on it. Although I don't know much about development, he already had knowledge about blockchain, so he easily understood the platform, and he started looking at the Steem codes on GitHub. I invited him to join the platform if he had the time. While talking we had some light snacks.

Chatting like this, it was almost noon. When I said I needed to head home, my friend insisted on having lunch with him. The high-tech park had a separate canteen in the building for food. My friend ordered food for both of us from there, and he paid the bill for the meal.

After lunch, we spent some more time chatting on the roof of the floor. Looking down at the city's vibrant environment from above felt quite nice. There were also seating arrangements on the roof. Since I needed to get back home, I said goodbye to my friend and returned home using public transportation.

It was almost evening by the time I reached home. Since it's winter, the day ends very quickly. I went out with another friend on a bike to explore a new place towards the hills. On the way, I noticed that the bike tire pressure had dropped quite a bit.

We stopped at a tire repair shop that had an air pump machine. A mechanic checked the tube's pressure and filled the tire with air as needed. Those who ride bikes should definitely check these things regularly.

Then we stopped at a beautiful spot in the hilly area on CDA Road No. 1 and explored the place. The place is very beautiful, and being a hilly area, you can see quite a distance around. Since it's winter, I spotted many fields of Kashful nearby.

Walking in the open field, the surrounding hilly scenery, and the gentle, natural winter breeze all made the place quite enjoyable. I spent quite some time sitting there and enjoying the natural views. I really love peaceful places like this, and this spot has now been added to my list of travel destinations.

My local friend and I spent a good amount of time there until almost evening. Then we left the place and headed towards the market to grab something to eat because there were no food shops where we had been exploring.

We went to a cooling corner. Although I don't particularly like eating sweets, the sweets there caught my attention, and I couldn't resist taking a picture of them. After finishing our snacks, we left from there.

Then I came back home. I completed some of my remaining prayers, and then I had my dinner. I prepared for sleep quite some time after dinner.
