My mother was diagnosed with an antrace ulcer two months ago. Since then, she has been regularly receiving medicine and check-ups according to the doctor's prescription. The doctor suggested a repeat endoscopy after two months to see the improvement in her liver. As this week was completed, I decided to have the test done very soon.

I woke up around 6:30 in the morning and set off for the diagnostic center with my mother on an empty stomach, as the endoscopy needs to be done on an empty stomach. I also didn't have breakfast that early, as it might take longer to reach the destination. I decided to get the test done at the renowned diagnostic hospital, CSCR, in Chattogram.

We had to travel a long way on the road since we came directly from a sub-district area to the middle of the city. For my mother's convenience, I had hired a reserved CNG, so there wasn't much trouble with the commute. After reaching the hospital, I went to the reception first to register for the test and get a serial number. Because of the doctor's referral, I received a discount on the test and had to pay 1600 Bdt/180 STEEM.

Around 8 AM, we went to the endoscopy section and waited with the other patients for our turn. My mother is very afraid of the endoscopy test, I tried to encourage her, and when her serial was called, I helped her into the endoscopy room. After she came out some time later, I tried to help her feel normal and calm.

Although the test report would be available in the evening, we couldn't stay there until then, so I decided to pick it up the next day. We were both on an empty stomach, so we went to the hospital's tenth floor, where the canteen is located, to have breakfast. The hospital wasn't very crowded in the morning.

In the canteen, I ordered parota and tea for my mother and dal bhaji for myself. We were sitting by the canteen window, and since it was on the top floor of the building, the city could be seen clearly from there. Our total food bill came to 130 Bdt/14.5 STEEM. After paying the money, we directly went down to the ground floor to head back home.

It was almost 11 AM by the time we returned home. I had some work outside, so I went out to finish it. In the afternoon, I went to the electronics and gadgets section on the second floor of the Alankar Shopping Complex market because I needed to change the top protector of my phone.

Although my phone's protector was intact, since it is a curved-display phone, it's better to change the UV protector every six months so that the glue used to set the protector doesn't harden and stick permanently. A skilled technician set up the protector on my phone, and it cost me 250 Bdt/28.04 STEEM.

After this, I returned home, performed the night prayer, and attended a meeting with our local mosque community. Dengue fever is spreading everywhere due to the increased mosquito menace in the area. Therefore, our mosque community decided, with the help of the youth, to clean the area, including several piles of garbage, along with the local residents. Furthermore, several other topics were discussed there, and I was present throughout the meeting.

Afterwards, I returned home and finished my dinner. I had a few small tasks at home after dinner, and by the time I finished them, it was nearly 12 AM. After that, I prepared to go to sleep.
