Fuchkabari, Bhatiari
Fuchkabari is a food corner where you can find popular street foods like Fuchka, Chotpoti, Rajkachuri, and Paprichat. These dishes are particularly loved by women. Compared to typical roadside local vendors, Fuchkabari maintains a first-class indoor location and superior food quality. In today’s post, I will share my experience visiting this street food corner.
Fuchkabari: A Premium Street Food Experience
Location and Timing
It is located on the ground floor of the Bhatiari BMA Market. While many other vendors sell food on the roadside in unhygienic conditions, Fuchkabari stands out by offering these snacks in a beautiful and hygienic environment. Since it is situated right by the road, it easily catches the eye of passersby. The food service is available every day of the week from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Interior and Atmosphere
The food corner features a minimalistic yet colorful interior. It is a single-room setup where one side is dedicated to food preparation, and the other areas are arranged with seating for customers.
The ceiling is decorated with unique lighting designs with long LED-style lights hanging from above. The interior includes open walls on two sides, while another wall features vibrant color paintings.

Menu and Service
Their menu is quite few, starting with five popular street food items. You can find: Fuchka & Doi Fuchka, Chotpoti, Rajkachuri, Paprichat, Peyaju etc. You can also opt for a parcel service. However, there is an extra charge of 10 BDT for parcels, as the various spices and chutneys must be packed separately.

Taste and Quality
The taste of their food is extraordinary. I tried the Chotpoti and Fuchka. The Fuchkas were very crispy, filled with flavorful mashed potatoes and spices, they tasted delicious when paired with their signature chutney. The chutney served with the Chotpoti further enhanced the overall flavor of the dish.
Photography Friendly
In addition to the food, the place is great for photography. One side of the wall features a yellow painting or wallpaper-style design with the food corner’s name on it, which is a popular spot for customers to take photos. I found the entire interior to be colorful and very photography-friendly.
Fuchkabari is undoubtedly a high-quality and hygienic food corner dedicated to street food. Along with your favorite snacks, it is a great place to spend quality time with friends and family. If you want to treat someone to street food in a nice setting, Fuchkabari is definitely a top choice.
