Today's travel story is the fish fair of Navanna festival

18/11/2023Yesterday Saturday was basically Navanna festival day. And around this Navanna festival, a 1-month long fair was organized in our Dupchanchia. And this fair was originally held at the C Office fish market in Dupchanchiar. And this fish market is brought by fishmongers from different regions to sell different types of big fish for sale.

And the fishes that came up in this fish market are katal fish, brigade fish, silver fish, rui fish, red shark fish, pangas fish etc. Moreover, all these fishes had an average weight of about 12 to 15 kg. And people gathered from different areas to buy these fishes. In addition, so many fish were caught in this fair that one can never think about it without seeing it from the front.

Since this fish market is located in Dupchanchia, all the people of Dupchanchia thana bought fish from this fish market and people from different thanas and district towns came and sold their choice of fish from this fish market. And this fish market basically started from Friday 10 pm to Saturday afternoon. During this period, people from different areas came and bought and sold their favorite fish. Especially during every Navanna festival, people participate in our fish fair. As this fish market has a special reputation, people from different thanas and district towns come to buy and sell fish of their choice. Moreover, as far as I could think of in this fish market, I was able to sell fish worth around 3 to 5 crore taka. That is why everyone is so interested in buying and selling fish in this fair. Moreover, these fish are very tasty to eat.Since this fair is mainly held around Navanna festival, this fair has a special popularity. And these fish are mainly collected from different parts of the country and brought to our Dupchanchiar fish market. And this fair was crowded with so many people that it was difficult to see the fish. It was so crowded that there was no room for people to stand in the fish market. Moreover, people have been able to buy and sell so much fish in a very short period of time in our fair of this month. As a result, both the buyer and the seller have been able to get satisfaction from the transaction.
