As-salamu alaykum, My Dear Steemit friends

I was unable to find one of my medicines anywhere in Dhaka, so I decided to order it online. The parcel arrived through SA Paribahan, but instead of being delivered to Uttar Badda, it was mistakenly sent to Uttara Sector 6.

This was clearly a courier mistake, because the packaging carton clearly mentioned Uttar Badda. Somehow, the courier service sent it to Uttara from Mymensingh.

Because of this mistake, I had to face some trouble. After finishing office at 6:00 PM, I directly headed towards Uttara. The distance from Uttar Badda to Uttara Sector 6 is around 11 kilometers.

First, I took a rickshaw from Satarkul to the Uttar Badda foot overbridge. The rickshaw fare was 40 taka. Then I boarded a public bus called Turag Paribahan towards Uttara, which cost 30 taka.

I was supposed to get down at House Building, which is close to Uttara Sector 6.

However, the bus did not stop at House Building. Instead, it went straight to Abdullahpur using the flyover, because the road below was jammed.

After getting down at Abdullahpur, I had to walk almost one kilometer back towards House Building and finally reached the SA Paribahan courier office in Sector 6.

At the counter, I informed them about my parcel. They asked me to go to the reception on the second floor to collect the receipt.

While collecting the receipt, I had to pay 200 taka as courier charges. After submitting the receipt at the delivery counter downstairs, I finally received my parcel.

I asked them why the parcel was sent to Uttara when the address clearly mentioned Uttar Badda. They admitted that it was their mistake. Honestly, the whole situation was quite tiring and frustrating.

After leaving the courier office, I walked about 500 meters to the main road near House Building. There, I had some light food, steamed pitha. Then I waited for a bus. When a Victor Classic bus arrived, I boarded it and headed back towards Uttar Badda.

By the time I reached Uttar Badda, it was already around 10:00 PM. I got down from the bus and had dinner, tehari. Then I took an auto-rickshaw home. I finally reached home around midnight.

After freshening up, I checked some news on my phone and wrote my Steemit diary. Since I had office the next morning, I tried to go to sleep as early as possible.
