The Diary Game: 31/12/2025 | A Small Trip In The City and Finding Joy in Traditional Street Food

As-salamu alaykum, My Dear Steemit friends

Today, there was no office in the morning, as it was a regular day off. So I woke up a bit late. After several days of extreme cold, the sun finally came out today, which felt really nice. However, staying inside a building makes both sunshine and cold feel somewhat the same.

Later, I freshened up and had lunch, which included chicken and vegetables. The meal was quite delicious. After lunch, I took a short rest. Since it was a day off, resting a little was necessary. But to refresh my mind, I went out in the afternoon for a short walk.

I went to a place called Beraid to relax. There is a riverside there where both sand-loaded and passenger boats sail. Watching this scene really lifts the spirit. On the way, I also passed by a park, though I didn’t feel like going inside.

At the riverside, I enjoyed the natural view. There were also several food stalls. Even if you don’t eat, the display is pleasing to the eyes. I had some tea with nimki and a few sweets like jalebi and laddoo from a sweet shop. Then I took an auto and returned home.

Whenever you go somewhere, it feels like something is missing if you don’t try the traditional food. Dhaka has so many traditional dishes, and if you don’t try them, you miss out on a lot of delicious flavors. That’s why today I made sure to try several traditional foods.

On the way, I also passed by Wonderland Amusement Park and got a glimpse of it from outside. I plan to visit inside another day. The park looks really beautiful. That was my day today. I hope everyone enjoys reading about it. Thanks to all!
