SLC28-W2 // "Lentils Soup"

How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today, I have come to participate in the second week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S28/W2, organized by the Honorable teacher @uzma4882 ma'am. She has brought us a delicious soup, whose name is "SLC28-W2 // "Lentils Soup". I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

Lentil soup is a delicious and healthy soup. The respected teacher @uzma4882 ma’am, taught us how to make that soup through a challenge. Now I will make the soup according to her instructions. Before starting to make the soup, I am preparing the ingredients.
Ingredients to make the Lentil Soup:-
Main Ingredients
| Yellow Moong Dal | ⅓ cup |
| Red Masoor lentil | ⅓ cup |
| Sabut Masoor Dal | ⅓ cup |
| Water 3 cups | for boiling |
Vegetables: -
| Onion small | 1 piece |
| Garlic cloves | 2 piece |
| Ginger paste | ½ tsp |
| Tomato | 1 piece |
| Carrot | 1 piece |
| Celery leaves | 8 grams |
| Cabbage | small piece |

Vegetable items for preparing soup

| Turmeric Powder | ½ tsp |
| Cumin Powder | ½ tsp |
| Zera Powder | ½ tsp |
| Black pepper | ¼ tsp |
| Salt | as taste |
| Butter | ⅔ tsp |
Now I am going to make a delicious dal soup using the above ingredients. Here is the tutorial for making the soup.
🍲Step 1:-
- First, I take 1/3 lentil dal, 1/3 moong dal, and 1/3 Sabut Masoor Dal in a bowl.
- Now I mix three types of pulses, and soak them in a bowl with water. I soak the pulses for 10 minutes.

- Now I chop the tied cabbage into small pieces and wash it with clean water.

🍲Step 3:-
- Now I take a pressure cooker. Add three glasses of water there. Then I put the washed mixed pulses in the pressure cooker.
- Now I chop a carrot and put it in the pressure cooker.
- Now I put the chopped onion in the pressure cooker. Now I add the remaining ingredients like chopped tomatoes, chopped cabbage, salt, turmeric, chilli, cumin,

🍲Step 4:-
- I mix all the items with the help of a spoon, then put the lid on the pressure cooker.

🍲Step 5:-
- After putting 3-4 pressure cooker lids or a mesh in the pressure cooker for 5 minutes, I put the pulse mixture down. By this time, all the items will be cooked well.

🍲Step 6:-
- Put the cooked dal mixture in a bowl and let it cool.
- When the mixture cools down, I use a blender. Blend the mixture well and make a paste.
- And put it in a bowl.

🍲Step 7:-
- Now I take a clean pan. Put the pan on the stove and add 2/3 spoon of butter in it.

🍲Step 8:-
- Now I put a small spoon of leek paste in the pan. Then I add leek leaves and stir the butter for a while,
- Then I put the dal paste in the pan and stir it well with the help of a spoon.

- I put it in the stove for 5-10 minutes, when the desired consistency is reached, I take it off the stove and pour it into the bowl. This is how I make dal soup following a very simple method.

🍲 what challenges do you face during making the soup and in list the prices of each ingredients in your local currency and steem |

Soup was very easy to make. But this is the first time I have made dal soup and enjoyed it. All the ingredients for making soup were in my house; all the items are our daily needs and are in our kitchen, so I did not have any problem getting the ingredients for making soup.
Secondly, I have said that I have made dal soup for the first time, the respected teacher @uzma4882 has shown the method of making soup wonderfully. And explained it in simple language, by following the rules shown by her, I was able to make dal soup easily.
I did not experience any problem while making soup, only I was hesitant. I prepare different kinds of food at different times in the house and enjoy it with my children; they also accept it with joy. Even today, when I make dal soup, they are with me and enjoy my cooking.

Lentil soup is a healthy and nutritious food. I will briefly present the nutritional content of the main ingredients of lentil soup below-
Lentil soup is considered one of the healthiest and most vital foods in winter. It contains:
🥣✨Protein-
- It is one of the best plant-based protein sources.
- It helps in building muscle,
- Keeps the stomach full for a long time
- And increases the body's repair and immunity.
🥣✨Dietary fiber-
- Due to its effect, it is a great help in digestion and preventing constipation when physical activity is usually low in winter
- Stabilizes the body's blood sugar levels and supports intestinal health
🥣✨Iron:-
- Lentils contain non-heme iron, which increases the body's energy and helps prevent fatigue.
- Iron-rich foods are very helpful during the cold months when the body needs more energy, and this iron is found in lentils.
🥣✨Folate (Vitamin B9)
- Folate (Vitamin B9) in lentils is important for healthy red blood cell formation and overall metabolism.
- Folate (Vitamin B9) plays a good role in brain health and in reducing fatigue

My personal experience of warm, healthy lentil soup in winter
I have already said that I made lentil soup for the first time and also tasted it for the first time. Before making the soup, I was a little hesitant about its taste, but when the soup was ready, I was the first to taste it. I found its taste very tasty. Then I also tested it with my wife and children. Everyone expressed their excitement about its taste.
I thank my respected teacher @uzma4882 ma’am, from the bottom of my heart for giving me such a beautiful and delicious soup. This is a new experience. I plan to make lentil soup again, and Insha’Allah I will enjoy its taste again very soon.
