The Diary Game: 20.12.2025 | A Winter Day Filled with Family Moments

I had breakfast quite late today, and the morning felt a bit lazy. After finishing breakfast, I didn’t stay at home for long. During winter mornings, staying indoors makes me feel sluggish and a little cold. Going outside feels much better, the winter sunshine warms the body, and walking helps refresh the mind.

Around noon, I went out for a short outing with my niece. She felt quite comfortable outside because there were many other kids around. Just for fun, I played a little with the children and tried to understand their games. Watching them play reminded me of my own childhood. After the playtime, we returned home.

In the afternoon, my mother and sister-in-law wanted to go to Saidpur for some winter shopping. So I took a shower early and finished my lunch. Later in the afternoon, I went to Saidpur with my mother, sister-in-law, and my niece. We traveled there by bus from the bus terminal.

Near the railway lines in Saidpur, there are many winter clothing shops, and we went there to shop. My niece, however, wasn’t enjoying the unfamiliar environment. She kept crying and wanted to go back home. To calm her down, we bought her some food. After finishing the food, she started crying again, wanting to leave.

To distract her, I bought her a plastic badminton set. After finishing our winter shopping, we had dinner at a restaurant. Then we went to the station and waited for the train. When the train arrived, we traveled back to our town by train and then returned home by van. After reaching home, I took some rest because I was extremely tired.
