In the last Steemit meetup I attended, I was told that a Steem Representative is an authority on the Steem platform. Their function in the platform is that they serves as a bridge between the Steemit team and the users. They also maintain order in the platform by correcting mistakes made by users on the platform.

The fact is that we have different Steem representatives from different parts of the world. Upon this list, I still have my favourite. I'll let the cat out of the bag in the course of this article.

My favourite Steem representative is @goodybest. I discovered this great Steemian when I was surfing the Steemit platform. Upon enquiry, I discovered that she lives in my city. So, I was eager to meet her in person and have a one-on-one interaction. The opportunity crept in when she organized the Uyo Steemians meetup.

I had to grab that opportunity, then I saw this iconic woman for the first time. Then, she hosted another meetup which signifies her achievement celebration of 6 Dolphins (30k Steem power). The fun fact was that whizzbro4eva was also in attendance.

Steem Representative is one of highly esteemed role on Steemit. As a result, the title user must have fulfilled these criteria:

• The user must be have an active record for at least 6 months.
• He or she should be a good voting CSI always. This implies that he or she is usually supporting other Steemians.
• Must have at least 17,000 Steem power of his or her own.
• Shouldn't have bad records like plagiarism warning, etc.

With this criteria, you will agree with me that it's a delicate role on Steemit.

Goodybest has different qualities which are worth emulating. Here are some qualities which I'll love to emulate from Goodybest:

• Balance ability: Goodybest has this superpower to balance every aspects of her life. As a mother, wife, entrepreneur and Steemian; she doesn't allow any aspect to be lagging behind. Currently, I am a student and a Steemian but I am having difficulty in managing this aspects of my life. I really wish to emulate this ability from her.
• Meekness: Her meekness is another amazing quality of her. From the 2 meetup I attended, I can draw a conclusion that she is meek and gentle.
• Support System: Goodybest is one of the Steemian who love supporting consistency. She support Steemians in her own way either upvoting or commenting. This is a rare quality.

Ever since I knew the role of a Steem representative, I wished to be in that role. The reason why I long to perform in that role includes

• Helping other Steemians who might be lost in one or the other.
• Fishing out fraudulent activities which may includes plagiarism and other activities.
• Maintaining order in the platform.
