For organizing this special and interesting "Steemit Challenge Season 31" Week 06 - Cottage Craft Shop" competition. I am grateful that this special initiative will give us all a great idea about the art of clay including yarn products and wood. By the way, I am going with you all to Bismillah Cottage, 21 Chandrima Super Market, Dhaka 1205 shop.

Especially in our Bangladesh, cottage industry shops have largely disappeared. I saw only three shops in the entire market, and this shop is one of them. Wooden products, clay products, jute bags, toys, sewing machines, bas products, etc., are available in this shop. Let us take a look at the shop with some questions answered.

Where is it located and how to get here?

This particular shop is located next to Dhaka City College, Chandrima Super Market 21 Bismillah Cottage, about a kilometer away from Dhanmondi 32. You can definitely track my location to get here. This is the most convenient and best way to reach there.

If you want to come from Gazipur, you have to come to Kawran Bazar via Mohakhali. Then you can go directly to Chandrima Super Market via Dhanmondi 32 or Green Road.

A brief history of the store, Founder, established period, if there is any communication medium.

As soon as you enter Chandrima Super Market, you will see Bismilla Cottage Shop No. 21. The shopkeeper's name is Abu Bakkar, he is a very old businessman. He has been engaged in this business since 2012. This market is a three-story building and has numerous shops on three floors.

This shop inside the market is usually closed on Tuesdays. The opening time of this market is 10 am and it closes at 9 pm. In the meantime, you can actually buy the industrial products you need here. There are many more industrial toys here. However, the price is a little higher if you buy the products through communication. I think it will be economical and preferable to see and buy all these products yourself.

Provide clear details about their activities. How many employees are engaged in what work?

This shop is generally included in 700 square feet. In the meantime, the shop is decorated with various types of small and large industries. I was very happy to see their active skills and experience in pricing products. They tell the price of any product very easily. They are working on arranging the products here very nicely. Especially here they have brought some new jute bags and are working on arranging them. I was very happy to see that they can do all the combined work in a very short time.

There are usually three employees working here, including the owner. When an order comes from outside, one of them cartons it and sends the goods to a different district. And the other one does the work of packing the goods, including the furniture of the shop. I saw the owner himself cleaning the dust and sand. I was very happy to see this beautiful combination of them. And the owner takes the money and tells the prices of the products to the customers.

What are the facilities like? For example, electricity, Security, etc.

One of the advantages of the shop is that they have the opportunity to buy the product at a discount of 20 taka on products that cost 150 taka. I confirmed this by asking prices in other shops, which is profitable. Also, the jute bag products are sold wholesale and retail in this shop. Because of the wholesale sale, there is an opportunity to buy here at a low price. This shopkeeper's behavior is very good because he does not feel annoyed even after bargaining for all the products. I like it very much. The most important thing is that you can shop here with an open mind.

This particular Chandrima Super Market is air-conditioned. So if the electric light goes out here, they operate the light fan through the generator. And it is illuminated through automatic change over. 5 security personnel are engaged in security on both sides of the market. Along with this, there is a monitoring system with CCTV cameras.

Various products are available here. These products are especially eco-friendly and useful. Jute bags, wicker baskets, various types of showpieces, sewing machines, wooden animal structures, pen holders, bird nests, wooden designed mirrors. Various types of products are available here. Below is a price list. There is no separate list of products in their shop. So they sell handicrafts, including pottery, at a small profit according to the sale.

How is the payment system done here? Cash payment, online payment, other

Here he is usually an honest and ordinary businessman. Especially he sells goods in exchange for cash. Also he takes payment in bKash or cash. Here you usually cannot pay in apps. However when you go to buy wholesale goods you can pay through bank. And there is transport to deliver the goods to the place where you want them. And there is no opportunity to pay in any other way.

Which product did you purchase from here? It should be shown. It would be better to show proof of payment.

Here I bought a jute bag and a wicker basket. This is a good product or way to keep some generally necessary practical products together in the basket. Also, a jute bag is environmentally friendly and this bag will play an important role in carrying food or necessary products. Finally, this is a good method to prevent yourself from using polythene.

Since I paid in cash here, they did not give me any receipt. However, when I make a big order, they write it in the memo book. They have been selling the products of Jute Cottage for a long time.

The behavior of the shopkeeper was very good and they openly allowed me to take pictures. Along with asking the price of the product, he said it with interest. And here I got the opportunity to ask the price of various products. The employees here are very good and efficient and they try to make sales by using good behavior with the customers. However, if the shop was a little more spacious, people would have bought normally. The handicrafts here are well known as one of the most environmentally friendly products. I am very satisfied with their activities.
