I've always liked Ron Paul, I don't always agree with him, but I've always liked him.

Tuberculosis killed over a million people in 2017, why didn't everyone panic then???

This is the best analysis I've seen so far, and it's only 4 minutes!

Yea he is very clear and economical with his words.

I get a really bad feeling about this lock down.

I'm waiting for everyone to start raving about how much "carbon" we saved the planet by not driving around for 2 weeks (30 days).

On that point, shouldn't gasoline prices be tanking? I thought the Saudis were pumping like crazy, and now with all air-travel and driving cut to bare minimums world-wide, gas should be back to 88 cents a gallon.

Maybe there is no such thing as a free-market.

They have been showing pictures from space of the cleaner air. Gas prices have been tanking for about three weeks now. What I am wondering is if they get all these extra hospitals up and running will they have everyone going back to work as that seems to be their only concern with this right now is it's potential to shut down the medical via overwhelming them. After that it'll be a crap shoot as to whether you'll live or die if you catch it.

Now gasoline is hovering just over $1 and they're featuring stories about blue skies over Los Angeles, so, I guess this is really happening.

I'm still not convinced about how "deadly" COVID2 (there is no such thing as COVID19 according to the CDC) is, but who wants to "take the risk" - that's really the beauty of a good "Pascal's Mugging".

Barely. I'd expect them to be at least half what they were in January, and that doesn't seem to be the case.

The price has been dropping here for a couple of weeks by 30 to 35 cents per liter depending on where you go. Maybe with the decline of purchases they will increase the prices again! who knows.

Good point. It's still considered a "necessity" and there will be a mad dash when everyone's given the "green light" to go back to "business-as-usual".
