Achievement 2: Basic Security in Steemit by @blessbee. 9th April 2024

Hello steemians this is my achievement2 post, Achievement two is basically about the basic security system on Steemit. So I'm going to answer five questions about Steemit security system and how well I understand it.But first I want to quickly state what security means.

According to Merriam Webster dictionary, security is a measure taken to guard against espionage, sabotage, crime,attack or escape. At least that is the definition that applies to Steemit security system you would agree with me . So basically Steemit security system is the measure that the platform has taken to ensure that the user's account is protected from unauthorized access. This means that no unauthorised person can access a users account which therefore means that the user's information and asset is safe and secure.

Yes I do

1. Tron public key is used for transfers it is the address I send tokens to
2. Tron private key has the highest authority on my Tron account , it is used for signing transactions of Tron such as transferring tokens freezing or voting
3. The Steemit private posting key is used to log in to app such as steemit. Com and perform social actions such as posting , commenting and voting.
4. The private memo key is used to decrypt private transfer memos
5. The private active key this used for monetary and wallet related actions such as transferring tokens and powering steem up and down
6. The private owner key is used to reset all other keys. It is recommended to keep it offline at all times and if my account gets compromised I can use the private owner key to recover it in 30 days
7. The master password is the seed password used to generate my account and I'm not to share it at any time.
   Then I have my public keys Which are associated with usernames and are used to encrypt and verify messages . They are not required for login. These keys are
   Posting public
   Memo public
   Active public
   Owner public

Question 3

Well I have saved it on my Google drive so that even if I loose my phone I can still access it when I login to my Google account. Also I have saved it offline just incase I lost online access to it.

Question 4

Yes I do. As a matter of fact I did transfer liquid steem to another account few days ago al . And I'm going to list the steps I took to do so below with pictures.
Step 1. I clicked on wallet tapped on the 3 lines at the top left, clicked on sign in. To sign in my username and posting key was required . I inserted those and logged in to my wallet

Step 2 . After logging in, I tapped the drop down arrow beside steem and taped on transfer. The username of the destination account required and I I keyed it in. Then the amount of steem I want to transfer to the person. And I clicked on next.

I then I confirmed transfer by clicking ok. Then I keyed in my private active key to proceed. And it was done.

Yes I do
First login to my wallet then click on the drop down arrow beside steem , then click on power up
Then I keyed in the amount of steem I want to power up the I clicked on ok to confirm transfer and it was done.
