Yes, I have retrieved all my keys on steemit.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions

Yes, I know each of these key functions and their restrictions. There are about five keys used on steemit and they are as follows:

• Active key
• Posting key
• Owner key
• Memo key
• Master password

ACTIVE KEY

This key is used for monetary and wallet-related operations such as funds transfer, powering up or down transactions, converting SBD, voting users, placing a market order, and even updating profile details.

POSTING KEY

This is the base key of the platform. It is first the login key for steemit and perform social actions such as posting, commenting, editing, voting, resteeming and even following other users.

OWNER KEY

This is a very important key that is not always used but only when there is need to change any key in the account and is used to recover a compromised account.

MEMO KEY

This is used to encrypt and decrypt when transferring funds.

MASTER PASSWORD

As the name implies, it is the master indeed. It is used to get other keys including the owner key and is usually used for recovery of account.

How do you plan to keep your master password

I have my master password saved online in my google drive and also in my gmail. It is also saved online in a safe booklet.

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account.

Yes, I do and the steps are as follows;

After you have logged into your wallet, click on the small icon below STEEM

Thereafter, click on transfer

Then, input the account you are transferring to, the amount of steem you want to transfer and the memo. Note that this memo is public and you can write anything in the box. Then click on next you have input your active key and you have successfully transferred funds from your account to another.

Do you know how to power up your STEEM

Yes, I do and the steps are as follows;

After you have logged into your wallet, click on the small icon below STEEM

Thereafter, click on power up

Input the amount of steem you want to power up and click on power up.
