TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

  • SOURCE BASE PLAGIARISM:

This is the act of coping someone's work then cite them and take it as one's own

Source base plagiarism is not noticeable because it will look as if the writer did it from his/her own ideas or thought

  • AUTO PLAGIARISM:

This is also known as self plagiarism, the act of coping what you have already written down.

When someone has idea and take it off to write about a particular topic twice it can be called PLAGIARISM because the writer needs to invent another idea to write about in another piece or website, another writing materials.
Most people think that self plagiarism is not harmful but it can be harmful to some websites like; Google etc.

  • DIRECT PLAGIARISM:

This is the act of coping an exact work without citing any word. Direct plagiarism is intentional because many people may not have change to write so they can just copy their friends work exactly and take them of as one's own.
Direct plagiarism can also be called copy and paste plagiarism.

  • COMPLETE PLAGIARISM:

This is mostly found in academic sectors because complete plagiarism is writing exactly what is been written from the direct source without changing anything just to get a better clarity.
This plagiarism looks like direct plagiarism because they but involve coping an exact text but in direct plagiarism it involves copy and paste.

  • PARAPHRASING PLAGIARISM:

In Paraphrasing, or incremental plagiarism, is the most common type of plagiarism. It has close description to the mosaic plagiarism style mentioned above. Though, the distinction is that the copied work isn’t mixed in with new concept or writings. When you paraphrase the main thought stays the same throughout the new writing.

  • ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM:

Most times plagiarism is not an intensional act. But it can also be called plagiarism when someone steals another person's writing without listing their source, improperly quote the key key pionts. Just .
because the neglecting or mistaken quotation was accidental doesn’t mean that plagiarism hasn’t been committed. It is always good to check any write up and when in doubt, give your point credit.

CAUSES OF PLAGIARISM
