Achievement 2 Task: Basic security on Steemit by @ebuahsang1

Hello fellow newbies and a good day to the entire new comers’ community.
This is a presentation of my achievement 2 task on the topic Basic security on steemit. But before I continue with my achievement task two in answering the questions, I will like to relate a story I am sure I have shared over 4 times now on steemit.
I got to know about steemit about 3 years ago, that is October 2018 to be specific. I read about it on google and everything about what I saw was pretty amazing. It was just fascinating to know that I could actually write post, interact with people and get paid. So with so much enthusiasm, I registered my account @ebuahsang and did a write up almost immediately after that, but unfortunately for me I got no upvotes or interaction, so I lost some of my enthusiasm. It only some months or a year later that I received some pretty amazing emails on steemit. I tried to log in but I could not because I had lost my master key.
That has been a very hurtful story for me and I regret not safeguarding my passwords and key better. I believed I have learned a valuable lesson from the last incident and know how valuable and important it is to keep my keys secured.
The use of the various keys in steemit.

1. Private posting key. This is the key that gives access to our accounts on steemit platform. The key is important because it grants us access to not only sign in but to post creative contents, comment on other steemians contents if we find them interesting, upvote and subscribe to the communities we have interest in.
2. The Private active key. This is not just a key but one of the most important key that we have on steemit. It is one of those keys that should be keep secret and very safe from the reach of others. This key is used for transferring of funds from one user to the other, converting of steem dollars and powering up. This key gives you access to the financial transactions.
3. Private memo key. This key is used to decrypt privately transferred memos.
4. Private owner key is the key that is used to reset all other keys, and it is advice to store this key offline.
5. Master key. Last but not the list is the master key.
   As of this post, I am confirming to the administration of the newcomers’ community that I have successfully received all my keys.
   I have read with detail understanding the various use for each of the keys.
   And I have save all of these keys. Considering the delicate nature of the keys and the risk of my online presence being hacked, I have preferred to save this keys offline firstly with a USB drive and then I have written the keys down in an exercise book and save in a secure location.
   I successfully did a power up with my first 5 steem I won a contest last week, so I can say I do know how to power up and also know the importance of powering up.
