ACHIEVEMENT 2 POST BY @EDDYVIC TASK,BASIC SECURITY ON STEEMIT.

MY EXPERIENCE AS A BEGINNER ON STEEMIT.

after my introductory post I was glad and eager to explore the world of steemit.little did I know that there are rules and regulations,and that posting is not just a post,but should be educating, informing,and beneficial.all etiquettes must be strikly follow.so I immediately Begin posting with my posting key I retrieve while signing in to steemit.i was given 5 keys.but sincerely I didn't understand what these keys where meant for,I began to press any sign I see on the screen of my phone,while logging in to my account.i received a boom from business activity community,after the payout I wonted to know more about my wallet and everything that is happening in my account.i make several post that was pending to pay out,I saw this sign < > power up power down at the sides of the number of my post payout I begin to press them, powering up and powering down in every of my post .even voting my own post.as a result I lost 8steem of my post ,when I calculated the reward s I claimed I realized I lost them so I took it to @vickydear and @gracyakan,whom after mucking me The both explain the signed to me.with this I realized I did have a friend who when I posted my introductory post he said if I have any difficulty I should mention him that he will guide me through.i quickly scroll down to the comments section and I realized he has already send me a guide to anable me understand the keys he sent me a memo guide by @cryptokanon, here was my eye opener.thanks to you @arrowgate for being there for me.i can confidently tell you I know how to use this keys now.here is screenshot of the transfer I successfully made myself below

now let me tell you about these security keys and thier uses.

*POSTING KEY-: this key allowed me to post, comment, edit,vote, resteem, follow or mute other account.
**ACTIVE KEY-:Active is meant for sensitive task such as, transf
erring funds, powering up and down transaction, converting steem dollars (sbd), voting for witness, updating profile details, Avatar, and placing makert order.
***OWNER KEY-: it is the most important and powerful key it is meant to be used used when necessary,it is used to recover a compromise account.it can be used to change every other keys including itself.that is why it is best to store it offline where no one else can have access to it
****MEMO KEY-:is used to encrypt and decrypt memo when transferring funds if need be.
*****MASTER PASSWORD-: It is used to retrieve one account,and can be used to retrieve all other keys including owner keys.it is only used during account recovery.

have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes I have done that,and that is what enabling me to post.

DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THIS KEYS FUNCTION AND RESTRICTIONS?

YES like I have explained to you above.

HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD?

I have stored it in my flash drive and I have copied it into my hard copy files at home offline.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER TOKENS TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT?

YES as I told you earlier in this post that I lost 8steems for nothing transferring and powering up to no one voting no one.now I can do that perfectly,I learned my lesson the hard way.i clicked on the down arrow next to the number of steem tokens that is in the wallet section of my account,then I click transfer in the drop-down box,then I enter the name of the account to whom I won't to make transfer to, after that I click okay to confirm.
##DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP STEEM?
YES I still use the same Dropbox as transfer next to the steem number but this time I select power up,then enter amount of steems and click power up and it's is done.thanks you all old users of steemit for understanding me and being patience with me it hope I will make progress in Due time,I will not turn you down,I am trying my best and my progress is and will be manifesting to make you happy.
