Hello beloved Steemit friends! How are you guys on this beautiful afternoon. I hope you are all in good health. In this assignment I want to share about being a newcomer, namely completing Achievements. In the previous post I have completed the Achievement 3 Task: Content Etiquette task. So now I will proceed to complete the 4th Achievement Taks: Applying Markdown.

1. How to Write Titles and Sub-headings

Here I will explain how to write titles and sub-headings (H1-H2). In writing posts on Steemit the title is a very important thing that we must pay attention to properly. So to make H1,H2,H3,H4 and H5 you can use this symbol # and see how in the example below

Example:

# H1
## H2
### H3
#### H4
##### H5

Result:

H1

H2

H3

H4

H5

2.How to Make a Table

Then the second here I will explain how to create a table in writing posts. We often use tables in writing posts, so I will provide the html code to create a table below

Example:

Name|Country
----------|-----------
@eriionata| Indonesia

Result:

NameCountry
@eriionataIndonesia

3. How to make text bold, italic and bold italic

In writing posts on Steemit we often use bold, italic and bold italic text to make the writing we share look beautiful and easier to understand. So to create the text, you only need to use this html code *, see the example below.

Example:

*example of italic text*
**example of bold text**
***example of bold italic text***

Result:

example of italic text
example of bold text
example of bold italic text

4. How to add image source

Sometimes we need pictures from other people to write posts on Steemit, so here we need to link the source link where we took the picture to appreciate their work. However, what is allowed here to take other people's pictures using the source link is at pixabay and pixels, so the method is as below.

Example:

[Pixels](https://www.pexels.com/id-id/foto/kartu-ripple-etehereum-dan-bitcoin-dan-micro-sdhc-844124/)

Result:

pexels-worldspectrum-844124.jpg
Pixels

5. How to write a Quote

We rarely use quotes in writing posts on Steemit, but sometimes we also need to explain explanations or want to quote phrases written by other people. Then use this html code >, see the example below.

Example:

> "Do no let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do" - **John Wooden**

Result:

"Do no let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do" - John Wooden

6. How to tidy up writing

Writing is very important in writing posts, because it is the content of the content that we want to share. So we have to write it well and neatly so that people who read it become and the writing also looks beautiful. Then how to use the html code as below.

Example:

<div class="text-justify">Write the article here after using the html code at the beginning of the first and then please use the code to cover it again at the end of the paragraph so that the writing looks neat.</div>

Result:

Write the article here after using the html code at the beginning of the first and then please use the code to cover it again at the end of the paragraph so that the writing looks neat.

This is all I can share for the Achievement 4 post about the Applying Markdown task, hopefully this post can be useful for myself and all my friends on Steemit. If something is wrong in writing or is not understood, please forgive me because I am still a newcomer here and please comment below so we can share with each other.
