Rainy Day in My City

Hi friends, here's my achievement 4. So, I live in a city where it rains "cat and dog" whenever it's rainy season. For those of us who are used to seeing how it rains really do not have any problem because we are so used to the events of raining in the area.

You see for strangers, it's a difficult pill to swallow because raining in their towns or city may not have been as serious as it is here in my city. So I have a neighbour who just relocated to the state newly, the first time she witnessed rainfall in my city was like hell to her. She was surprised that it rained that way. In her words.

"I've never witnessed such rain in my life before, is this how it rains here?"

It was quite hilarious to me because I saw nothing wrong with the rain raining the way it was. She was surprised I went out even as it rained that day. Not just about the rain, but because we have a bad road condition leading our street to the main road, she questioned how I got out without being stained.

my brother and I at timber market

I wanted the carpenter to construct a little support for me to keep my stuffs at home so I visited the timber market to get it done easily since wood is sold there. I felt everything would be cheaper there. So everything I did cost me #2500

Plank (wood700
Nails500
Transportation300
Workmanship1000

I took time to brief my neighbour how we manage to survive during rainy seasons though in my local dialect.

a part of the road when it rains

Rain will always fall, do not allow that become your problem. You need a big umbrella or rain coat that will cover you whenever it rains. Except it's a very serious rain then you need to stay indoors because it maybe dangerous walking or driving in the rain.

Edim adisuk idedep, kuyak ando ado mfina mfo. Ayayem ekemba ufukeyo mmidoho afong edim se abise ufuk fien ke edim ama edep. Akpatre ado ata ekamba edim ke afo abisine ke esid ufok ke ntak ifono adisana mme adiwad moto ke edim ke ntak ekeme adi uno fien unomo.

She was excited I told her the necessary things to do while it rains. She thanked me and we all went into our houses.

Rain is a natural phenomenon which we cannot control or avoid because it is a blessing, though I understand it can also be disastrous causing flood and making our untared roads dirty, always filled with water.
What is the experience like in your country or state when it rains?
