Hello! to all i hope you all are good and enjoying good health and also enjoying this amazing platform.I am very glad to tell that my first achievement is now verified.After this success now i am given another task which is basic security on steemit.I am very confident that as i achieved my first task positively,i will also achieve the second task in a good an positive manner.First of all it is necessary to understand what is security and its impact for this purpose i am going to write a detail article on it.

Task: Basic Security On steemit:

Before going ahead it is necessary to know that what is security?

What is Security:

Anything that is chosen to protect your valuable data from unauthorized persons is called security.It might be in many shapes like password,facial recognition,voice recognition or some kind of patterns.We are living in a technology era,where we have different kind of sensitive information in hard form as well as soft form.The protection of this data and information is very much important,if there is any leakage of this data you will lost all your information and it is quite possible that you will be driven by anyone else.So to protect you and your sensitive data from hakers security of this data is very much important.When i am talking about security on steemit i have to answer these following questions.

Question 1

Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Answer

Yes i have downloaded the keys and saved these keys in my different security section like i have saved these keys in my online google drive,in my SD card,in my USB and i have also taken a print out of these keys to keep a hard copy of these to use in any kind of need.

Question 2

Do you know each of these keys functions and restrictions?

Answer

Yes i have significant information about these keys.For the purpose to get information about these keys i visited my online wallet from where i got reasonable information,further more i also visited google to collect and gether more and more information about these keys.Follwing is the brief detail of these keys.

Posting Key

All the routine tasks of steemit are done by these keys.It is used to upvote and down vote.
it is used for commenting and bloging.
you can also mute anyone by using this key,and access to notifications and social actions is also done by these keys.

Active key

You can change other user profile by using this key.it is also used to power up and power down on steemit.

Owner key

The main function of the owner key is to change all other keys.So it important to keep this key in a secured manner,if you lost this key and any unauthorized person got it then it is quite possible that you must lost your account and will not be able to get it back.

Master Password

As showing its name it is called the mother of all keys.It is even used to change the owner key.So the safe custody of this key is very important.Once it is stolen you will lost your account and will not be able to get it back.

Memo key

while transfering funds it is used to encrypt and decrypt memos.Private messages are also done by this key.

Question 3

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Answer

As mentioned above the importance of this,it is a matter of great concern that the security of it is very much important.For this purpose i have saved it in my drive and USB.

Question 4

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Answer

Yes i know about it first of all you have to open your profile and then click the wallet tab to open your wallet.After this you have click the steem a new menu list will be opened,from this list you have to click the transfer.After clicking this button a new page will be opened with the details of tranfer in this you have to provide your username and the person to whom you want to transfer the steem.Following picture will clear it.

Question 5

Do you know how to power up?

Answer

Yes i know how to power up first of all you have to open your wallet and then click on the steem a new list will be opened where you have to click on power up and enter the digit how much power you want.Following picture will clear it.

At the end

Security is basic tool to protect you and your data from any unauthorized access.The knowledge about steem keys and their effective use will protect you and your account.
