TASK CONTENT ETIQUETTE
by @Fingabods

Introduction

Writing is a creative avenue through which skills and human endowments are elucidated to facilitate learnability at any given time. The structural sequences on which written works are layed or designed engender interest, generate thrills or mystify essence based on set rules that guide effective writing. These set rules are fundamentally guiding principles from which good writing is authenticated.
Pertinently, these guiding principles could be passed for factors that culminate in or bring about good and interesting writing. In academic terms, such written documents are known as Publications. Captivating publications are therefore, globally recognized when evidently disposed in originality, creative background, wealth of trusted content, hinged to the citing styles in referencing, as well as fervent but distinct indentations inherent in the entire work. However, this work entitled "Task Content Etiquette" is billed to examine the guiding rules and principles that envelope or encapsulate authentic publication globally, thereby making writing a worthwhile activity rather than a mere copying game for cheap achievers.

What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism

The art of adapting or copying another person's work numb with credit to its original owner, or without acknowledging the original owner of the work, irrespective of mode, form or design in which such activity is carried out is plagiarism. Plagiarism is a contemptible activity which is intertwiningly injected to a written work by an imposter or impersonator, with a claim to be the originator or fundamental source of such written content. It marrs growth in all its ramifications, kills creativity and promotes mediocrity among professionals. Example of citing one's work is
Udoma, (2019:24) emphasized that plagiarism is crude and unacceptable to any growing environment. At the referencing page, which often is the last page in a publication, depending on the type of reference(like APA method...latest form), the full names of the original work owner, the title of the book or journal in which the reference
was extracted, year and address of publication and Town are clearly written.

Trusted Publications imbue correct citing of references, the right adaptation of dates, relevant but standardized indentations, proper and logical written sequences. Ensuring originality in a publication by rejecting duplication of peoples materials and ideas with a claim to be the original owners of such materials and ideas is bastardization of identity and must be exterminated in all spheres of rational thinking, action or design.

Types of Plagiarism
There are several forms of copying or awfully replicating other people's works.

They are:
~ Complete Plagiarism
~ Source ~ based Plagiarism
~ Direct Plagiarism
~ Mosaic Plagiarism
~ Self or Auto Plagiarism
~ Paraphrasing Plagiarism and
~ Accidental Plagiarism

~ Complete Plagiarism is experienced in a situation where someone else's research is lifted wholly as it is, and the source, identity of researcher and other credit changed and ownership claimed by another person or persons.

Source based Plagiarism* is another form of publication theft. This occurs when the various sources of references are faulty, perhaps non existent, or misleading citations or unrelated sources of data and information adapted just for self acclamation.

Direct Plagiarism is a situation where one copies verbatim, the original work of another person, without attribution to the owner, or application of quotation marks in reference as a borrowed impute. Another name given to this type of publication crime is Word for Word plagiarism.

Self or Auto plagiarism occurs when the owner of a work replicates part or a section of his old work to make a new publication. Though it is the writer's work, it lacks credibility in resourcefulness and tantamounts to misappropriation of intellectual rights.

Mosaic Plagiarism is interlaying of someone else's phrases with the writer's original lines, blending both fervently into a new thing. It is the most difficult form of plagiarism to uncover or identify. Another name for it is Patched plagiarism or patched work.

Paraphrasing Plagiarism is identified with the adjustment of another person's work by either changing few words or redirecting few lines of sentences to create a seemingly new idea.

~ Accidental Plagiarism could take place when there is an unintentional paraphrasing or a miscalculated or misdirected fact fortiusciously injected uncircumstancially. However, whether unintentional, accidental or out of neglect, every crime is punishable by law. Plagiarism is an intellectual crime which by all circumstances, must be exterminated, avoided and condemned as it lacks credibility.
