Achievement 5 Task 4: Review of Steemdb.io // by @holayemine // (100% Powered Up)
Good day everyone, I hope we are all staying safe? I'm here to finalize the reviews on achievement 5, by reviewing @Steemdb.io.
I've gone through some sites and understood some working components in @Steemit. I've also realised that necessity gave birth to those websites.
In this my achievement 5 Task 4, I will be reviewing @steemdb.io, let's go!
REVIEW OF STEENDB.IO
Steemdb is a block explorer and database for steem blockchain, created by @ray.wu. On the landing page of @steemdb.io, the first thing to notice is a chart pattern for the pair of STEEM/BTC, it shows the price of the asset. The functions of @steemdb.io includes live chart pattern of STEEM/BTC, showing several recent transactions, searching for different accounts, a prototype lab for features to be incorporated, etc.
RECENT BLOCKCHAIN ACTIVITIES
On the main page, just below the 30-Day best distribution, it reveals how rewards on staking were distributed,after that recent blockchain activity follows and besides it is Network Performance.
ACCOUNT OPTION
Also from the landing page, the first option is account, click it, it will reveal accounts of users per page.
POSTS, COMMENTS AND OTHERS
From the landing page, there are some options at the top of the page, select Post, the posts that has happened in @Steemit will be revealed, sorted by date.
WITNESS OPTION
This is the fourth option on the main page, it shows all the witnesses available in the Steem blockchain and it is arranged in order of votes.
LAB OPTION
This option houses pending projects on @Steemit, they are called active experiments. Experimental projects and testing grounds for various concepts.
Last option on the landing page is create account.
I'm very happy to review @steemdb.io,it's a very simple website and easy navigation, I'm able to know more about @Steemit. Thanks so much to @cryptokannon for the guide and @whitestallion for supporting @newcomer's community.
