Good day my fellow stemians, I am here to write about applying markdowns in this great community.

Markdown is the format or style used by a steemit writer to make post appear in an organised and easy way to go through.
Without this markdown, it's entirely impossible for your post to be in an arranged order.

HEADING.
Headings are sometimes seen as the title or topic of a particular write-up. It can be displayed using the symbol #

One # is the biggest heading, as the symbol increase ie (##, ###, ####), the heading decrease

Example:
(# ## ### ####)

first heading

second heading

Third headind

fourth heading

Note; The first heading is bigger then the second and the second than the third and so on.

TEXT FORMAT(Bold and italics)
When creating a post you will probably want some words in Either bold or italics.
This method could be used for that:

Bold:
You can use double asterisk (**) or double low dash(__) on both sides of the text.

Example:
This is bold

Italics:
You can use a single asterisk (*) or a single dash(_) on both sides of the text.

Example:
This is italics

Bold and italics:
In this case it's quite easy
Use double asterisk (**) and a single low dash(_) on both sides of the text.

Example:
This is bold and italics

TEXT ALIGNMENT
You can decide how you want your write-up to appear whether as center, left, or right or justify patterns

TO JUSTIFY

Example: The text below is justify

Don't jubilate by saying you've win not until you've won
Achievement is when conclusion is made
Success can be disremembered by your summontable mistake.

FOR RIGHT

Left alignment is the default alignment

SUPERSCRIPT AND SUBSCRIPT
Sometimes when creating posts you may need tools like the SUPERSCRIPT and subscript
To do this you can use the codes below;

LINKS
links are very important in creating, styling and editing post and other write-ups
It is also one of the most common tool you will be using while making post on steemit.

This is done by adding@ to a valid steemit username it then becomes a link to the account using that username

Example:
My name is ikoabasiumoh but I will add @ symbol
It becomes @ikoabasiumoh

IMAGES
To insert an image in your work
Just click on the options "selecting them" at the bottom of the steemit editor or you can also drag and paste from clipboard.
