Achievement 3 || by @justice4peace Task : Content Etiquette: Plagiarism at Cognitive creativity.
Cognitive is the ability to develop independent intellectual skills through reasoning and recalling. It involves originating ideas, facts, and tenses together to make a complete sense.
During my senior secondary school days, my teacher in music asked us to use anything to create a musical instrument (guitar). In my own way, I was just wondering what will I use and how will I make this instrument? One idea came into my mind I had to cut a strong stick, get a peak milk tin, I then create a hole in the middle-top of that tin without opening the base. I then got one string from throttle cable tied it to one end of the stick, put that side into the peak milk tin. Having done this, I created a little hole at the base of the tin, insert the string to pass through. I now used that string tied to the other end of the stick having a bent shape. With that I was scored the highest scores as compared to others. On this note creativity is the ideological ability to bring out new, original, unique and transparent ideas which have not existed before and is used in solving present problems.
The act of plagiarizing: the copying of another person's ideas, text, or other creative work, and presenting it as one's own, especially without permission.
[source](English dictionary application).
Doing this is the act of violating the ethical rules of intellectuality. Plagiarism is also the act of stealing the author's literary work and disregard of content Etiquette. Take for example, someone has worked for many days at the end of the he/she is paid. Having been paid he/she keeps the money in the house but someone sneakly remove the money, if he/she is got in that act will held quilty. Similarly when you plagiarised you will be called to face the discord and will be declared guilty of plagiarism.
Example of citation
According to Ukoha and Eneogwe (1998) quoting Mkpa 1987, defines synthesis been one of the categories of cognitive domains as "a process of working with elements, part, etc. and combining them in such a way as to constitute a pattern or structure".
1. Clone Plagiarism: This is a word-to-word copying of another person's write-ups and claiming ownership.
2. Remix Plagiarism
This implies the use of one's work, change some things and claim ownership. Just like songs, one will sing and another will pickup that song either remove or add some lyrics and try to claim ownership.
3. Find-Replace Plagiarism:
Find-replace Plagiarism is a type of Plagiarism which the writer chooses to use synonyms to replace another word or words without any changes in the original content.
4. Recycle Plagiarism: This involves one using his/her already established documents, unscramble and refine then use it in establishing a new document without proper citation.
5. 404 Error Plagiarism: It is the creation of documents by copying from different sources to prepare a new document with inappropriate citation.
6. Aggregator Plagiarism: Aggregator is derived from the word aggregate which is the document formed by the combination of documents to form a whole mass. This contain all the appropriate citation with no original work.
Conclusion/Summary
In summary, make your post by using your cognitive creativity and your write-ups won't be noted as Plagiarism. Also with appropriate citations and references you won't plagiarise.
