Hello Fellow steemians

I am glade to share with you today my knowledge about THE BASIC SECURITY ON STEEMIT which is all about the keys.
These keys includes:
a.The posting key
b.The owner key
c.Active Key
d.The memo key
With my study of this keys I will try to simplify what they are in the commonest language for the understanding of each and everyone.

Question 1.Have you tried to extract all your keys?
Well done if “yes”
And if no I advise that all your keys should be copied and saved anywhere private to the user I will encourage people to save them on their phone Notes and on their diaries.
How this Special keys work

• First of all let’s take a look at the posting key. This particular key is used to log into your account and could also be used in performing commenting functions,posting and voting as other functions it can be used for.this key performs many other miraculous functions like to follow steemians and to mute other users.
• Secondly,i would be talking about the owner key.This key only 2 uses which are to reset all other keys and should be kept somewhere very safe at all cost and out of the reach of of a second or third party because you could loose your account and the other use of the owner key is when one needs to recover his or her account within 30 days if it gets compromised, user would have to provide this key.
• My third key to talk about is , the active key.It is used to regulate the safety of anything in to do with money and its transfer or transaction or regulate steam power either up or down
• My last key on the list to briefly talk about is the memo key. to encrypt a memo use the pound# sign before it
• (To encrypt here simply means to convert information into codes simply to secure something from unauthorized access)
  What are your plans as to securing your master password.?
  What is Your master password in the first place?
  To your notice it is very important.it is used to generate all the other keys including the owner key , I call the master password the overlord of my account
  And I keep it somewhere very safe and secured because it is saved at 3 different places of which each one is very secured and I will encourage you to also do same to yours,Make sure it is at the safest place.I can’t say where mine is hidden but you know where best to hide yours.

(Now that you know all this why don’t we take some time to learn how to Transfer steem token to another user).

The Steps Involved In Transferring Steem Token To Another User

• Initially,click on the avatar icon on the right top corner,a drop down menu will appear

• From the drop down menu click on wallet

• Click on the second highlighted Steem which has a drop down arrow

Then select transfer from the drop down menu

• A dialogue box will appear then you will fill in with the username you are transferring the money to and the amount you will be transferring and don’t forget to add your memo.

How To Power Up Your Steem
• Click on your avatar icon again

•click on wallet

• Click on the second highlighted Steem with a drop down arrow,

then select power up

• A dialogue box will appear,then you will enter the amount you want to power up with and click on power up
