ACHIEVEMENT 1: My Introduction post to steemit, mentored by @benton3

Greetings everyone, I am glad to be associated with everyone on steemit.
My name is Mercy Godwin Akpan, I am the third child in a family of five, born in January 1987 and a bonafide indigene of Ibiono Ibom in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

Growing up in a family like mine was more like an adventure as we constantly relocated from one state to another due to the nature of my father's job. These gave us an early exposure and helped us settle in and relate freely with persons from other tribes in Nigeria.

AREA OF ACADEMIC AND LIVING

I started and finished my primary education successfully at Enugu State Nigeria. Then proceeded to Lagos State for my secondary education after which I concluded my tertiary education in University of Calabar, Cross River State. I proceeded to the North for my National Youth Service and settled in Uyo Akwa Ibom State Nigeria afterwards.

I am blessed with a husband and three amazing children. In order to make ends meet, I did some part-time and full-time jobs which were mostly health and education related. While on one of the jobs I was privileged to meet @benton3 who was a great colleague now turned friend.

HOBBIES AND PASSION

I am passionate about learning, (mostly things that are positive and adds value) lending a helping hand when necessary and teaching.
My hobbies include but are not limited to traveling, reading, writing, singing, dancing and smiling.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH CRYPTO

I have learned that in order to keep up as the world is fast evolving I need to stay abreast of the times. This plunged my interest and start into the world of crypto. I intend to keep learning more about crypto and earning too.

HOW YOU FOUND STEEMIT AND WHAT YOU HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH HERE

I was introduced to steemit through a reputable friend and colleague @benton3 who spoke so fondly and passionately about steemit and seeing that my passion is in tune with it, he encouraged me to join. It took me a while to join but I am glad to be here now.

In conclusion it feels great to be here as I hope to learn more and also share my discoveries in the world of steemit.
