I am Mubeen Aslam working as lecturer economics.
Here, I am going to explain about content etiquette.

Content Etiquette

Content Etiqutte means which manners should be followed while sharing data on any global network, what steps should be followed for posting any audio, video, text etc.data on global media, and what type of data one can share on specific network.

What is Plagiarism:

Plagiarism means to steal someone’s data and show it as you have the owner rights of that data or to share someone’s else data without any citation,it may be a case of negligence or to by pass someone, and Sharing your own data again and again is also a type of plagiarism.

Types of Plagiarism:

There are many types of plagiarism but following are the famous ones.

Words Plagiarism:

Means to copy the words of other work and show it as your own.

Paraphrasing:

Means to get the other work and after modifying some content publish it as your own work.

self Plagiarism:

Means to post your own work again and again is also a type of plagiarism and it is called self plagiarism.

Why people do Plagiarism:

to get the reward of others work.
To avoid from self work.
To avoid from research.
For the purpose of easiness.
For the purpose of deceiving someone.

Disadvantage of Plagiarism:

The true and exact person do not get reward of his own work as it is stolen by someone and he is getting reward of the others work without any struggle.

How to avoid from Plagiarism or What rules should be followed for better content etiquette:

1 If you are sharing other data, you have to give proper citation of other data. For example, Melton Friedman said,” Inflation is everywhere a monetary phenomenon”Therefore, it should be written in inverted commas to show that it is the work of others.
2 if you want to get any data from global network, you should have to paste the link of that original post,so that it must be shown that where from you get that data.

3 Pictures have brand name on its should not be copied and shared without getting copy rights.
4 if you want to share any type of picture, you should have to paste it link properly.
5 write your own words instead of stealing other data.
Above said steps should be followed while posting any type of data on global network.
