Achievement 2 @nirvaan Task : Basic Security on Steem

Good Morning, friends of the Newcomers Community. This is my second achievement, fulfilling steemit's basic safety.

Have you successfully saved your Steemit master password?

I have downloaded the Steemit master password and saved it in a secure place and correct way to access it when you want to enter Steemit.

Do you know what functions Steemit keys have?

If Steemit assigns us a series of passwords or keys to be able to enter correctly to its platform, these keys have specific and individual functions. I will explain them below.

Master key: This is the main and most important password of Steemit, because with this key we can modify the rest of the keys and, if it is lost, the user will lose access to his account, because this key is not regenerated.

Active Key: This key will be used to enter the wallet where the Steems and SBDs that have accumulated in Steemit will be. In this wallet they have functions such as transferring SDB or Steem assets, claiming rewards, changing SBD to Steems in the market, doing Power-Up, and delegating Steems to other users.

Posting key: This key will be used every time we are going to enter Steemit, with it we log in, being able to create publications, share on the blog, the publications of other users, as well as vote positively the good posts that have been published. You can also follow, and comment to other users.

Memo key: This key is intended to ensure the reading of encrypted messages, and also to decrypt encrypted memos.

Owner key: We will use it to update the rest of the keys, except for the master key. Whenever we want to change the current Steemit passwords, we will have to enter this key.

Have you properly guarded your Steemit?

The keys that Steemit created for the access of my user I have stored and saved so that I can not lose access to my Steemit account in the future, nor that others can enter my account without my consent, for that I have saved it in my storage cloud, apart from having it on my computer, in a remote folder.

Do you know how to make a steem transfer to another user?

To make a transfer you have to follow the procedure that I will now describe:

Log in to the Steemit wallet.

Place the name and active key to successfully log in.

Click on the steem amount.

Choose the TRANSFER option.

On the next page, Place the amount to be transferred and the name of the user who will receive the transfer.

Finally, confirm the transfer.

Do you know how to power up with your Steem?

To make a Power up you have to do the following:

log in to Steemit Wallet.

Make the registration by placing the username and password.

Click on the amount of Steems available

Choose the POWER UP option.

On the next page, place the amount of Steem with which you want to do Power up.

Finally, confirm the operation.
