DISHES I PREPARED FOR MY PRACTICAL EXAMINATION DURING MY INDUSTRIAL TRAINING. ( 19 / 12 / 2025 )
Greetings my lovely Steemians, Hope you all are good cause I am happy sharing another part of my life with you guys.
So today I will be sharing with you guys one of the most memorable moments of my Industrial Training which was my *practical examination*. This was a chance to put everything I had learned in the kitchen to the test. The meals I prepared weren’t just random dishes; they were part of a *real function hosted at the hotel*, making the experience even more exciting and rewarding.
I was really scared and nervous cause if I messed up it would be really bad for my and the company buh with my colleagues supporting me, I felt motivated and less scared.
I started with *salads*, and each one had its own story.
The first was the *Avocado Green Salad* was fresh and creamy, filled with fresh lettuce, slices of ripe avocado, black and green olives and tomatoes skin. It was light but satisfying, perfect for anyone who enjoys clean and healthy eating.
Next was the *Coleslaw* — a familiar favorite made with cabbage, carrots, lettuce, sweet corn, lettuce, kidney beans, cumbers and tomatoes tossed in a creamy and smooth dressing. It was crunchy, sweet, appetizing and added a nice balance to any meal it accompanied.

Then came the *Fruit Salad*, which was beautifully designed, colorful, juicy, and naturally sweet made with watermelon, paw paw and slices of oranges. It felt refreshing and was the kind of thing you’d enjoy on a sunny day.
One of the more unique salads was the *Rainbow Salad*, made with kidney beans, sweet corn, green peas, cucumber, and tomatoes. It was vibrant, colorful, and full of texture — a wholesome option that felt both hearty and healthy.

Next was the *Bread Bun* — golden, slightly glossy and soft on the inside. It came out with the perfect texture, light yet firm, and had that warm, comforting smell that fills a kitchen with joy.
Last but not least, the *Cake* — a beautiful, multicolored delight that instantly caught attention. Each layer was vibrant, soft, and moist. It wasn’t just a treat to eat but also to look at. The colors made it cheerful and perfect for any celebration.

I was proud to not only prepare these dishes but also enjoy them. It felt like a full-circle moment — from learning to doing, and finally, tasting the results. Am so happy and grateful for this journey I took in my life.
