Sunday Preaching on how much we owe God thanks ||14/12/2025||
Hi blessed Steemians, and happy Sunday to you all. Today was Shiloh's thanksgiving service in my church (Living Faith Church), and it was a great day to be remembered. We connected life at Canaan Land today for the service, and it was mind-blowing. I love the testimony part of the service because people were just giving impossible testimonies, which were made possible by God, and the praise section was amazing; the choir sang in different languages in harmony to the glory of God.
After the choir ministration, Bishop David O. Oyedepo, the general overseer (founder of the church), ministered to us on the screen from Canaan Land. Today's topic was not broad; it was simple and easy to remember, but it was very impactful. The topic was about how much we owe God thanks. Indeed, God is faithful for making us see January to the month of December sound and healthy; it's a testimony because it's not everyone that has the privilege we have; some have departed from this world. Therefore, we have enough reason to give God thanks.
Here are the reasons why we must give God thanks. Ministered by our father in the Lord Bishop. David O. Oyedepo.
Because it is a debt we owe God. Luke 17:17-19
To multiply our blessings. Jeremiah 30:19
For the preservation of his blessings so that they may not suffer reversal. Malachi 2:2-3
For the perfection of our blessings, Psalm 138:8.
He further added that thanksgiving delivers maximally when it is done on time. This means that we should not procrastinate in giving thanks to God because it holds the best value when you give God thanks early enough and give it quickly and faster for speedy answers. Remember, God is enthroned by our praise, so give him thanks at the right time in the right season. Thank God for today, and he will take you to your next level and do it today. Do it now before it expires, and do not sing an empty song; sing an informed song, a song from your heart, and if you give thanks for everything, he will keep on multiplying his blessings in your life. In conclusion, he said if you have lost anything, God is the reason you have not lost everything, Salem.
After the sermon he made an altar call for the souls who want to give their lives to Christ and those who want to rededicate their lives to Christ, and crowds of people came out from their seats in different directions and moved to the altar without hesitation. After Bishop David prayed for them, he requested the choir to sing solid praises to the Lord while the congregation danced to give thanks to the Lord. The choir ministered powerfully, and people danced as if they were going crazy in church to the glory of the Lord. When the praise section was over, we shared the grace, and everyone departed to their different destinations.
Thank you.
