BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM

Hello everyone,

My name is Precious, and this is my submission for Achievement 2: Basic Security on Steem.

I have learned that Steem uses different keys for different purposes, and it is important to keep them safe.

The different Steem keys

1. Master Key
   The Master Key is very important because it can be used to change or recover other keys. It should be kept private and stored safely.

2. Owner Key
   The Owner Key is used for important account security actions, such as changing other keys. I should not share it with anyone.

3. Active Key
   The Active Key is used for actions involving my Steem account, such as transferring funds and powering up or down.

4. Posting Key
   The Posting Key is mainly used for social activities such as posting, commenting, voting and following other users.

5. Memo Key
   The Memo Key is used to encrypt and decrypt private memos.

How I will keep my account safe
• I will never share my private keys with anyone.
• I will keep my Master and Owner Keys in a safe place.
• I will use the appropriate key for each activity.
• I will make sure I have backups of my keys.

Conclusion
I now understand the importance of Steem account security and the different keys used on the platform. I will keep my keys private and secure.
