Introduction

Thanks to greeter @radjasalman for reviewing my achievement 5 task 1 post some time ago and with that I'm here to proceed with my next achievement post which is achievement 5 task 2 that has to do with reviewing steemscan.

So let's begin...

Please explain the current Steem price and volumes on date of submission of this review?

The underlined numbers on the screenshot indicates the current steem price and the volume as of today the 24th September 2023, the volume is at 444,550,315 steem/ 12,454,223 SBD the price is at 1.

Please explain What all information is shown under latest transactions and latest blocks section?

Under latest transactions and latest blocks, we see the the most recent transfer of steem from one user to another in the steem Blockchain, also the latest block shows the block that has just been created following the transaction made.

Please explain What all information is shown under Witnesses section and steps to vote a Witness?

Witnesses are steemit users who have been assigned by others to be developers in the steemit ecosystem, they come up with projects that help grow the steemit community.

Every steemians has 30 votes to give any witness of your choice and to do that, you need to visit steemscan.com and click on menu then witnesses then you can vote.

Following the steps

Go to browser and search for steemscan.com then this page will open, from there you click on menu

Next thing you click on the menu tab and select witness.

The witness tab is the second option on the list.
Once you click on it, the witness page opens and you are able to select the witness you want to vote for

Among the list of witnesses I chose to vote for @pennsif for witness by clicking on vote, I was redirected to another page for confirmation using my posting keys

The process needed my posting keys and active keys to complete after completing the process I could go back to steemscan.com

Please explain What is DApps and mention 3 DApps which you have already used or may use in future as per your interest?

DApps stands for Decentralized apps and so far I've been able to use are steemworld.org and steemscan.

Please explain How to use "Quick Convert" and what is the fee charged for different Steem amount for withdrawal?

To use quick convert, go to menu on steemscan and amongst the list, click on quick convert after clicking on it you'll see the 3 options to convert your steem to, after inputting the amount of steem you want to convert, click on the asset to want to convert to and confirm the order.

Please explain what information is provided by the "Search" feature?

The search feature is used to search for block transactions on the steemit Blockchain, once you click on it, you input the hash of the block you want to search for.
