INTRODUCTION

Hello beautiful ladies and gentlemen am happy to be a part of this wonderful ecosystem known as Steemit.

Am here to present my achievement2 task to @cryptokannon on The Basic Security In Steemit. Some of the questions to be answered is as follows;

1. Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Yes I have retrieved all my keys on steemit. All are in a PDF format. Both the private and public keys

2. Do you know each of the keys functions and restrictions?

Yes I know the keys functions and restrictions which are as follows;

Posting key: It's used to log in on Steemit.com, to vote, to post, to follow and unfollow someone. It's not used for transportation.

Active key: It's used to transfer steem token or powering up steem, and powering down steem. For monetary transactions

Memo key: The function is to decrypt private transfer memos

Owner key: It is used to recover an account and the key is also used to reset other keys.

Master Password: This key is used to generate this document containing keys in PDF format. The master password and the owner key can also be used for transportation and it is recommended to keep them safe.

Private keys are used for login while public keys are not

3. How do plan to keep your Master Password?

I plan to keep my master password by saving it on phone.

4. Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user?

Yes I know how to transfer my steem token to another steem user.
Log in and open your wallet. When it opens, you will see by the side of Steem a sign like this ∆

In a drop down option, click on transfer. It will lead you to another page where you will enter the amount and Steemit user. Click on transfer and out your Active key to complete it.

5. Do you know how to power up your steem?

Yes I know to power up steem. It goes with the same process with the steem transfer but you are not going to click on transfer but on power up and it will lead to you to a page where you power up your steem.
