Hello guys, Is a pleasure to talk to you about what i have learnt about steemit basic security systems.

BASIC SECURITY SYSTEMS
Today I’m going to talk about these basic keys, which are, posting key, the active key, the owner key and then the memo key. I will also explain how these keys work in my understanding

FIRSTLY
Have you received all you keys ?
Your steem keys are very important in operating your steem account and you need to download and keep it very save. Personally i have copied my steem keys into my phone notepad and i have also kept a copy in my PC for save keeping. I encourage all newbies to try and save their keys offline for safety.

Functions of the keys
I will now like to talk secondly of the functions of the keys. The first key i will like to talk about is the posting key.This particular key is used to log into your account and it is also used to perform other functions such as posting, commenting and voting. It can also be used to follow steemiants and mute other users on steemit.

Also we have the Owner Key. The owner key to my understanding is the most important key,it can be used to be reset all other keys . With this key I highly recommend that you keep it very very save at all times and keep it away from people. This means that someone could easily reset your account if the person has access to this key and steal your account. As the name suggests the owner key means you are the sole owner of your account. The owner key also allows you to recover your account within 30 days if it gets compromised so imagine if someone has hold of it.

Active Key is the next key i will like to talk about. This key is used relating to all money and wallet issues. Basically that is the use of the active key.

And finally last but not the least is the Memo key. This key basically deals with encryption and decryption of memos as the name suggests when transferring funds. The pound sign is used to decrypt the memos.

Similar to the keys we also have the Master password. As equally important as the owner key, it is used to generate all the other keys even including the owner key so that when when you think your owner key or other keys have been compromised you can regenerate them. As I already said, for me personally i have personally saved this key on on my phone and my PC for save keeping.

Thirdly i will like to talk about how to transfer steam token.How to Transfer Steam Token to another User
STEP ONE
At the top right corner of your phone or computer, click on your avatar and you will see a drop down menu
STEP TWO
From the drop down menu click on wallet
STEP THREE
After which a new widow will appear then you click on the first steem with a drop down arrow option and click on transfer.
STEP FOUR
From the dialogue box that will appear fill in the details which contains, your user name, amount, user name of the person you are transfering to and the memo which has already been explained earlier.

Lastly
I will now finalize by talking about how to Power up your STEEM.
STEP ONE
Follow the first and second steps involved in transferring money.
STEP TWO
This will actually be the third step but at this step after clicking on the first steem with the down arrow, click on power up.
STEP THREE
Enter the amount you would like to power up and click power up.
