Thank you for your comment. That is exactly one of the points I wanted to make with this post. Violence can happen to anyone, but I think male victims often face the additional problem of not being taken seriously, or people simply cannot imagine that a man can be a victim too.

For me, it should never be about whether the victim is a man or a woman. Anyone who experiences violence deserves to be taken seriously and offered help.
