Still Doing the Work of an Evangelist - My Visit to a Spiritual Healing Centre

in Writing & Reviews2 years ago (edited)

Hi everyone, I am delighted and filled with extreme joy to be actively back after a long while.

This is actually going to sound like a story.. while it is not really a story but a true live experience. For the records, I would like to reiterate to our minds that man's heart is desperately wicked.

Some months ago, precisely in April. April happens to be a planting time over here in my place so it is always a time of joy. While some are going, others are coming. It is always a time of great excitement because of the perceived future.

Planting time as we all know is synonymous to investment time. Just as you don't expect immediate reward from your investments, the same way a farmer understands that it takes a little time for the proceeds to begin. So just like every other family in the city, we were likewise excited about the season because, for one, we are assured of a consistent food supply.

Now talking about food supply, over here food supply is really a difficult thing and of course, that's the big reason why people and families celebrate the farming season.

My family is not really a large one so we don't really hold up many assets and good enough there is a system we have over here that allows you to have ownership of a parcel of land for a little amount just for a planting season that's if the original owner of the land is not planting for the season so we acquired land for the season and we were very happy because the size of the land is massive. We paid for the land to be cleared after which we started planting immediately on it

After planting on the land the first day, the second day met my absence because I had to attend to something else but upon my return, I came to see my aunt complaining of serious leg pain and we thought it was because of the excessive farm work she was involved in for the past few days but before we could figure what was going on, Her leg started rupturing.

It was a very terrible scene. we started tackling it medically but the more she took pills, the worse it got.

When we noticed that it was seriously repelling medications, we had to call her friend from work to inform him what was going on. Upon his arrival, my aunt was taken out of the house to a spiritual healing center and we spent so much money which we never planned for.

I didn't have the opportunity of taking many photos cause I was warned about using a camera around the center.

So I met Elshadai, a middle-aged very energetic Camerounia who likewise was there to take care of his mentally challenged mum who is now perfectly alright.

Elshaddai Mokube hails from Ekondo Titi Sub Division Ndian, South West Region in Cameroun. He is the last born in a family of 7. According to El, we were Nine (9) in total but we lost two and that reduced us to 7. I absolutely enjoyed my childhood being the last born of the family, I enjoyed so many privileges from my seniors. I am a church fanatic, which means if I don't go to work, I would go to church.

I nad already helped him to set up his account and soon I will help him participate fully in the task for newcomers that will help him familiarize himself with steemit.

Getting him onboarded for me wasn't really a tasking thing because already I had seen the enthusiasm in him and from my little conversation with him, he shared with me how he felt very unfortunate being in Nigeria till this time because to him Cameroun is a better place because there are many opportunities for him to make cash over there at Cameroun and he feels very happy now that he has something to keep him busy though he is yet to make another publication.

The world would definitely become a better place if we don't keep good things only to ourselves and our family members and I want to use this opportunity to give a shout out to every steemian who is committed to bringing others to this live changing platform and for those who hasn't introduced anyone before, I want to urge them to give it a try and see how fulfilled they will be for introducing someone to a better life.

Thanks for having me. Please Read, reblog, comment and upvote. It's still your friend @eldecor.
