Hello steemians,

Today I'm going to share about the movie "Shawshank redemption". The main theme of the movie is hope and friendship. The movie can be explained very well with this quote from the movie.

"Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of all things, and no good thing ever dies".

I don't how you will feel at the beginning of the movie but you will be fulfilled and happy by the end of the movie . There will be a great revelation at the end, after that you will release how good and preplanned the story is. I will not recommend you to watch this movie if you don't like slow burn movies. I also recommend you to watch a review of this movie before watching it.

PLOT:

In 1947, banker Andy Dufresne is convicted for murdering his wife and her lover. He was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences at Shawshank state prison. He was there constantly abused by the prisoners. After a while he was befriended by a inmate and smuggler called "Red". As time goes he was used by prison guards and warden to launder money as he is a banker. Oneday Andy found that an inmate knows the real person who killed his wife and her lover and asked warden to help him, but he didn't want Andy to get free because he wanted him to launder his money. Anything more than this will be a spoiler, so I stop here. It was full of struggles for Andy in the prison but he never lost hope and believed that one day he will be free.
