I am here to talk about the challenges that are given by @steemitblog in today's blog.
Challenge #1: How can we get businesses to accept STEEM as payment?
As soon as Steemitblog announced Steem Crypto Challenge Month, I started my new journey to aim to learn some more about steemit.
I got to know that Steem was one of the payment options in CryptoPayments back in 2017. There were a few online stores that accept STEEM as payment via the CoinPayments service. But now, I noticed that Steem is not available as the payment option on this website.
What Is Coinpayments ?
CoinPayments is a cloud wallet solution that offers an easy way to deal with numerous cryptocurrencies. This website offers payment solutions for multiple cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and litecoin etc.
This is a digital currency payment option that allowing merchants to accept Cryptocurrencies in their store through easy to use plugins, APIs and POS interfaces.
If Steem will be added back on CoinPayments then it would be easy to accept STEEM as a payment for the businesses.
How to add Steem on Coinpayments ?
The only host of the Steem can add their coin on Coinpayments.
There is an option of "Add Your Coin" on the bottom of the homepage of Coinpayments that will redirect you to "Coin Hosting Request" page. Direct Link
There are some requirements and charges written for "Hosting a Coin". If we fulfil all the requirements then we can process further to add STEEM on Coinpayments.
How to add Your Store on Coinpayments ?
To add a store that is not already on this website just click on "Store Directory" on top of the homepage. It will redirect you to cryptwerk.com. All you need to do is "Sign Up" on Cryptwerk and add your store on it.
You can select the coins to accept payment on the next page. Also, you can add and remove coins from your payment interface anytime.

I am still trying to understand more about Coinpayments and it's functions. This is kind of interesting topic for me. I'll come up with more solutions to grow the businesses to accept STEEM as Payment.

Yes, I also hope for that. But I'm guessing there might be some limitations to this that it's only for online business.
I am still searching and studying for a better option maybe.
Yes i agree,in physical store for paying with crypto is not so easy. But in future we see those support too.
